  1. Warhammer failed because they couldn't balance pvp to save their lives. It was just knockbacks. No matter how good you were at the game, someone was going to knock you off a cliff and kill you, or into lava and kill you – you were going to get knocked back in some way that you can't control, and die. It just got old quick. The combat mechanics and classes were pretty dope though.

  2. Im still of the opinion that PvP games die due to a lack of content, and AoC will be a good test to see if that's true.

    Nobody plays Mortal Online 2 because there is only like 10 mobs and a handful of similar looking dungeons. As long as Ashes has plenty for people to do, I'm optimistic it may side-step some of those problems.
