  1. There is definitely some evident "too many hats" going on in Intrepid. I work in a SASS software company, hiring for Senior isn't very unheard of. I actually KNOW a junior dev at Intrepid, and I know they are trying to grow rapidly. During rapid growth you do need to look for many Senior engineers, and sometimes companies aim for Seniors in order to reduce the "ramp up" time of junior staff members. That being said: they need to make sure their leadership positions have a specific focus and aren't trying to dabble in every role!
