  1. Great ideas 🙂
    I would like to see buffing nodes with elements.
    So for example if the players defeated a fire dragon and it dropped its unharmed fire gland, the mayor of the city could imbue their relic with this item to "imprint" the node with a blessing for a week (or so).
    I could imagine following:
    Scientific researches could have a short-term buff on fire related skills, a divine node could bless players for additional fire resistance, economic nodes could get some sort of discount on fire related stuff to buy and military nodes could bless players with additional flat fire damage on all attacks inside the proximity of the city.

  2. Interesting point about the industrial node. Maybe they can incorporate this into the existing economic node system or as part of freeholds to flesh out the industrial aspect of processing.

  3. We have node types, so why don´t we also have guild types? When creating a guild you choose what type of guild you´re creating (religious, economic, scientific or military). You will get bonuses/buffs and what not depending on your guilds type and level (just like the skill tree system alpha 1 currently has). You can always change your guild type but the guild gets reset to lvl1 an you have to pay a small fee, not to big, small enough that it´s not worth it to make a new guild to not pay teh fee (and have to transport guild bank aswell as reinvite every member). Some ideas I have.

    Military guild skill ree could give you bonuses like:
    -Mifferent bonuses in PVP (like 1-5% and you have to choose one or a couple of them) like more weapon/skill damage against players, life steal, less weapon/skill damage from players, more HP/MP, more elemental/type damage (like fire/thunder/holy/unholy but with a higher percentage) and so on
    -More rewards for Bounty hunting, maybe even a higher chance that a corrupted player you killed drops his gear?
    -Faster movement speed (mounted aswell as unmounted) for chasing players
    -Faster HP/MP recovery
    -More loot from sieges or taking over caravans
    -Slighty less corruption
    -Less EXP debt

    Scientific guild skill ree could give you bonuses like:
    -Higher percentage of succeeding when crafting something (still dont know how crafting will work)
    -Higher percantage of bonus stats
    -Less material cost
    -More ressources and higher change for rare stuff when gathering
    -Faster gathering/crafting speed

    Economic guild skill ree could give you bonuses like:
    -Cheaper real estate
    -Less auction house cut
    -Less taxes to pay in nodes
    -Better prices when selling or buying from NPC´s
    -Faster caravan speed

    Religious guild skill ree could give you bonuses like:
    -Better rewards from quests
    -More "reputation" for factions
    -Having a second small life bar (like a divine pretection from the gods)
    -More damage against undead
    -chance to not get exp death upon death
    -chance to instant res upon death

    These are just some bonuses, of course they gotta be small and not too noticable.

  4. I don't like the industrial node, sounds to advance for this type of game and this early stage. If scientific isn't scientific enough, then they need to work on that instead.

    However, I would love the concept in future expansion that there would be another node level where you can combine different node types.
    For example Node level 7: Economic + Scientific = Industrial Node.

    Well, just a concept I got his from this video! Amazing conten as always!

  5. Idk about industrial nodes. The nodes we have now are very independent of each other. With industrial nodes, you would have to go to scientific node for the blueprint, then bring the finished goods to an economic node to sell.

I think scientific nodes will be more important to a worlds progression but i don't think for a main hub. the node unlocks access to the blueprints and skill masteries but i don't think you need to stay in the node to use them. I think most players will have to make a journey to a scientific node for unlocks but most players won't stay after.

  7. I'd like to see a Mercenary guild. Something which is the opposite of thieves guilds. The idea being players could loan their skills in combat out to say protect caravans. Not every players likes being a thief, maybe they want their character to be more on the good side.

  9. Your videos are great, I hope you grow as a content creator as Ashes hopefully grows, later and later in development.

    This game is going to raise a lot of ships in terms of new content creators and in times like these recovering from the financial fallout of covid. I hope this game really lives up to intrepids vision and I am hopefully optimistic with even a twinge of cautious hype, keep working on it man you could be huge in the future! I watch every video!
