So does all of the spells (except Barrage and the jumping ones) roots you in place or Steven just doesnt move?
Really great improvements since last time. I really like what you've done to improve the snappiness and the overall polish level of the ranger.
A suggestion. It's looking like a lot of the combos are lining up to "do this, then this, then this. repeat" I heard some mention of procs, but I think you all should really consider some strong RNG or crit based procs that really shake up the rotation. WoW does this particularly well where you have to be looking out for your class's procs to make sure you stay on top of achieving your best version of your dps.
I think you all have built a really really cool toolbox of abilities, now I think it'll be about making your rotations feel more dynamic.
Its crazy how good you managed to make this class look aswell! Cleric, Mage, and Ranger all looked amazing! Iv been dreaming of playing an aoe based mage in AoC for awhile now but by launch ill prob want to play every single class. Gonna be rough to decide what to do, I hope ill actually have some free time when this finally comes out cuz man am I gonna need it.

Vfx colors are much more better, feels less saturated or constrated idk. It blends much better than what i saw before.

Im always playing mage class but I hate style of animation effect of mage in this game with wierd huge static plasma ball and unpolished staggered freezing effect. On the other hand, ranger visuals is epic. Its night and day. I think Im going with ranger because of it.
Please dont mess up the Ranger, its always my favourit in MMORPGs, but in so many Games the Rangers is easy to swap with another class, there is nothing unique, if a ranger has something unique, then it is something no one needed. Yeah some people say "if you are good, everyone needs u" but this is not the same like you need a tank or you need a healer. I only feeling that in Guild Wars 1, in Trap dungeon Runs or in some fight with a lot of interrupts abilitys but in all other mmorpgs, you have to play a ranger completly different or as hybrid in gw2. I like to play Rangers because of the f…bow und not because of a great sword or healing staff and dodge abilitys 😀
Effects look amazing. Game needs a reticle and dodge roll system though. Full tab target is going to lose the younger audience

I really like the GCD and oGCD and is a system heavily used in my current favourite MMO Final Fantasy XIV! Though some feedback I would like to leave is to create some small text or icon that will tell you if any given ability is a GCD ability or an oGCD ability, perhaps on the right side on that coloured namebar or just as a small text right under the name of the ability as the first descriptor along with mana cost and cooldown. Amazing work all of you over Intrepid I'm so amazed at all the awesome work you've put together!
36:20 – 41:04 is by far the best Steven gameplay i ve seen in this game yet on any of the classes and then he goes back to his normal gameplay level and ruins the pull around the lake big time. 🤦♂
those passive abilities seem made for shapeshifter too?

A year ago, I had my doubts. Combat looked clunky and… kinda bad.
This changes everything.
This was clean, it was crisp, it was fluid.
If every class gets this level of attention, then this will be a genre-defining game for the next decade or more.
