Crippling + blitz….. this is slowly turning into wow warrior zug zug. Too much cc is not a good thing for warriors to have when they can just bash you in 3 globals. I hope this isn't going to turn into wow.

Looking forward to the class remake in a couple months. As a former L2 orc player and melee fighter enthusiast, this one was a little disappointing, mostly because it felt undercooked.
To offer specific criticisms – obviously the choppy animations need work, but beyond that, it just feels slow and awkward. the entire class kit, as presented here, is pretty much "big chungus hit hard, big chungus hit harder." I would like to see more fluidity, more mobility, more weapon combos, more skills that dont require a 2 second buildup animation. Borrow some more from L2's tyrant class than just the totems/forms, borrow some from WoW's warrior with the quicker animations that still yield impactful results.

good job team im with u from start overall i like warrior class but 2 thing that i dont like is 1: auto attack feel not smooth 2 : the effects of spells are too much i like them reduce 50 %

You guys have come a long way! Really amazing to see the whole developement of the game.
he needs to feel more weighty in his movement, maybe slow his animation speed or something? everything just seems fast for a heavily armored character
I'll admit that I'm disappointed that the 'fighter' archetype is essentially just a 'warrior' which in all reality is just the archetype of fantasy barbarian. I wish it were more akin to what D&D depicts as a Battlemaster Fighter. That would be so much more appealing to me. A master of arms, a tactician, an 'expert' combatant. Not someone who rages and uses a rage meter. But perhaps if it's mixed with something else that will fill the niche I'm describing. Perhaps the Fighter primary Rogue secondary being 'Duelist' will be something that I enjoy.
All melee classes need closer abilities, like charges and leaps. I know you know this, but if melee cannot get into (and stay in) melee, especially in pvp, nothing else matters.
I'm already sick of this game.

This game deserves to be incredibly succesfull
It would be cool to have a slight underlay under the warrior, indicating which form he is currently in. This would be really helpful in pvp. If I am battling a warrior I would want to wait until a warrior is no longer in his cc resist form to pop my cc's. It also more intuitive than looking at the buff icons, when clicking on a player
Disappointed to see combat still follows the same free-movement action logic. Imo it is the worst combat style to go for on an MMO
Feedback following some of the last questions asked by the devs : for my part, I highly value immersion, so I dislike fast respawn rates, super predictable spawns and mobs that never change their patterns. A way to improve mobs is to make them react to sound and LOS if the players are hiding around ; and varying spawn points, etc. Also, not all creatures should fight to death: some should logically run away when too hurt or just hurt (some animals notably). Also, of course, activities should NOT feel like grinding.
Best show case thus far! The combat and animation was great! Loved the effects of the fighter's skills! The basic attack sword swipe and whirlwind when hitting a player or NPC needs a bit of polish. Sounds collide a lot but I'm sure that can be solved with options in menu. That was FUCKING AMAZING!! Cannot wait for Alpha 2!

I'm liking the animations but the idea of mana on the melee classes just doesn't sit right. I feel like being oom isn't a good way to make melee pull out of a big fight. How about some rage or stamina?
I know the visuals are the last thing that get done so The spell effects are still too much as they are now. why is there a huge column of holy light on a purely physical spell effect? that looks abit weird imo maybe go with a more subtle effect maybe a metalic trail of weapon edges or something with darker color tones (dark red/ orange) instead of holy light. this looks more like a paladin effect.
the battle cry animation and audio are fucking phenomenal
the huge one-handed hit that roots you in place also looks amazing and seems fun to use same as the blitz.
and for the 10th time i hope someone more experienced at showcasing these classes actually showcases them instead of steven, maybe steven can be there and observe and comment on it and direct it if he wants but i feel like the developers themselves will be doing a better job at showcasing these classes and spells.
