I really liked the adaptive behaviors where the boss will intentionally target the densest groups of players with it's abilities. No more stack and sack tactics!

I like the direction, still needs work. Mechanics seem repetitive and fight got kind of stale. Would like to see enrage result in visible change to dragon, not just more damage.

It was a fun fight. Quite challenging though for melee due to AoE and size of the boss blocking the view at times. As a fighter i needed to manage my cooldowns and have enough stamina to dodge out of those big attacks. Some of them, like the jump, seemed to be random and have no obvious tells, so you had to be super aware at all times, which i also liked. And this is a level 20 raid. We were doing Hellfire Chasm in wow at this level lmao.
I hope we can jump over the ground slam he does.

Asmon was right this looks mid, final fantasy have better dragon fights they should take inspiration on that. This dragon feels like lacking animation and very generic its just like a big piñata, kind of booring ngl
The combat and mobility look smooth. The spell effects look great. The one thing that was hard to deal with was the intensity of the Sun and how it overexposed the screen when looking at it in that direction. I truly hope they nail that down because I want to be able to see all the detail and texturing that has gone into the player characters and artwork. I agree, that was a young dragon. I cannot wait to see an Ancient Dragon 10 to 20 times the size of the one they just fought. GW2 Dragon fights were Epic. I really hope they put some voice acting into the game for story Arcs and quest givers. I truly want full emersions. I know many people want to click and run and could care less about reading the quests and get tired of the same voice over after they hear it 30 times. I would also like Auto Loot for trash mobs as you grind through a zone to get to the boss mobs. I hate having people stopping, lagging behind to gather trash loot. It is a time sink as a Main Tank player when having to constantly slow down and wait for the one guy like Steven to loot everything.
People missed how hard this fight is. Steven as resing them with immunity so the damage could not break his res. When you have a real res restriction people will not be able to res in combat unless people can lead the boss
So far tumok and firebrand seem to really put melee dps at a disadvantage. i wonder if there will be way to rectify this in the future. That was the big in TBC where there was just so much aoe and movement that melee had a really hard time keeping up time on the bosses which made locks and hunters giga broken. Maybe gear will be super important in fights like this so melee can get higher fire resistance numbers and ignore some of the aoes to keep up dps.

Good first thoughts. Yeah the mobility of this fight is awesome. I really like the fire breath pointed at the most condensed populated area.
wings animations are kinds bad sometimes tbh when hes moving around on the ground or while hes getting ready to cast some attacks but overall its looked pretty amazing

Overall not bad I like that it moves around alot in a big area rather than a confined space where it stays in the same spot, maybe add some cc to it like knock downs and knock ups
Only two things i got are. 1-The strafe breath fire should leave a burning trail for like 8-10 seconds, walling off players. and 2-tail swipe should knock players back.
