Ashes of Creation: A RETURN to the OLD SCHOOL Experience

Ok so, this was by far my most highly edited video and hopefully the 40+ hours spent over 2 days was worth it!
In Today’s video we discuss something sorely missed in today’s currently popular MMOs, THE OLD SCHOOL EXPERIENCE and how social media has evolved in a way that completely prevents the youth of today from experiencing what we did back in 2004… or does it? Well not for me and I explain how you to can still experience that OLD SCHOOL feeling here in 2022.

any sponsors??? MODCHECK??? daddy needs a paycheck to make the Bailiffs go away!
No but seriously I hope you enjoyed today’s video as it completely drained me to get it finished over the last 2 days so now I am going to get some well needed rest 🙂

  2. Ive almost ruined my fun playing osrs by watching alot of guides and feeling like Im playing suboptimally but then I understood that playing optimally in osrs really isnt for my and now I pretty much do low effort money making methods for every skill. Instead of grinding really high level money makers and spending the money on fast exp methods. I prefer the balanced but slower progression.

  3. I honestly do not believe that today's 13 year old kids will play MMORPGs like we did back in the early 00s. The main reason is the number of alternatives out there and these kids have no idea what progression feels like, even though they have the free time to learn.

We all know the target demographics for MMORPGs is 25 and older, but I highly doubt kids younger than 16 will choose Ashes over some F2P game like it happened back in the good old days. I understand why Ashes should try to cater to younger audiences, but I'm not sure if that's a smart move.

  4. The only guides I look through are guides that help me run the game as smooth as possible in the settings. Other than that I enjoy figuring things out on my own. If I get stuck on something for quite some time I’ll ask for help. Simple as that.

  5. i will only use a guide if i feel like i need it. i will play the game non stop figuring things out but if i wanna know what does more damage or a certain rotation, i'll figure it out. y'kno?

Watches all ad's without skipping so Narc can afford RENT! aka started MMO's back with Ultima Online back in 1999 and let's just say those times are far gone and no matter what we say, or anyone says not of this time frame…. Ya it's like talking to my 21-year-old daughter lol. AKA We are old and outdated and just don't understand the new ways.

  7. I still look for new mmo everyday for past 15 years. even though I know pretty much what's out there. It's llike checking your refrigerator over and over when you are starving. You know whats in there, but check anyways hoping that maybe just maybe you missed something good.

  8. I plan on letting AoC take over my life for at least 10 years when it releases. I will heal and buff you Narc the naked, narc the furry elephant, narc the copium infused kid slapper.

  9. I tend to eat up broadly written guides before jumping into new mmos. Mostly just to understand core systems. I get into the really heavy class guides after I get to end-game as that's when I start getting more competitive.

  10. I rather go in blind like yourself. Playing through WoW way back at launch; the discovery, and unknown was one of my favorite parts. Knowing what is coming, and being told how to play just doesn't seem fun to me. Something like path of exile where I pretty much must follow a guide to get through the game. I don't like the idea of that. Keep up the great work. Get some sleep, and I hope you find your pants. For the sake of everyone watching LOL

  11. 1st of all … was that an American accent? If so, not bad. 2nd : I looked up TOO MUCH with new world. I literally knew everything as the game started and rushed to max only to become extremely bored, very quickly. Was that MY fault or AMAZONS fault for not making more endgame content? Endgame is normally locked behind a knowledge wall , which is locked behind a leveling wall. Guides are a full demolition crew with permits to use explosives. If you break the leveling wall, 9/10 you're going to do the same with the endgame wall. IMO DONT USE ANY GUIDES. In NewWorlds case I was first of my friends to claim it sucked, but that's not what I wanted at all.

  12. "Boomer" is like my parents and your grandparents. I'm Gen X. You are probably Gen Y (Millennial) or Gen Z. I know you were not talking specifically to me but seriously: Few 60+ year old's are playing video games. BTW love your style, creativity, and humor.

I turn streamers off with new games. I watch reviews after I have completed the game myself. I enjoy games similarly like you do. Probably why I enjoy the little things in games like gw2. Gg buddy
