  3. Happy Fourth of July! I like this question format very much and I hope that you will find occasion to do more of these. High density info about a number of topics that I have given no thought to. Thanks for the shout out! Independence Day has always been special to me, of course, but it means a lot more to me today than it ever did when I was a kid. My Dad was drafted in 1941 at 21 years of age and was in Basic Training when Pearl Harbor was bombed. He served the entire war and came back (or I wouldn't exist :P) as did three of his brothers. Two of my mother's brothers served in Vietnam. I have a son and a nephew who are currently serving in the ANG. My son was deployed for my Birthday last year but made it back a couple of months ago, so I am exceedingly happy this year.

  4. My 5 things I almost for sure want to do in ashes:

    1. Main character will be a Vek
    2. I will live in a Divine node
    3. I will collect mounts as I love them, just like baldmongold
    4. Fishing will be one of the artisan classes I put the most time into
    5. I will do tons of ocean content whether that is something like hotspot fishing in BDO or dungeons/events in the ocean you have to sail to

  5. Happy New Years Day, have a great Independence Day! [that's how I celebrate it, rather than on the beginning of some arbitrary calendar]
    and he has confirmed that. You won't see any "classes" until the base 8 have been actually Finished.
    2-3 years. Because it's NOT gone perfectly at all so far, so why expect it to change? Yes, they fixed it fast, but it was broken and delayed.

  6. People are not understanding that secondary is "flavor" NOT ability… so Cleric main will always be the best healer, as they have stated numerous times, the others, even bards, will rarely be "effective" replacements, and even then only in specific cases.

    Meanwhile, I am expecting 3 character per account. So ALTs being residents of ONE node isn't a big deal.

  12. @8:00 I think it is entirely possible that Cleric as a secondary archetype might become meta due to potential added sustain, but Mages will never be able to outheal Clerics based on what we know so far. The secondary archetype DOES NOT change the abilities. So on Mage, Cleric might add some defensive/heal effects to Prismatic Beam, but will not change its primary use from being a damage based ability. The secondary archetype is really just a talent tree based on what we know so far. Adds some modifications/augments to skills, but does not give you new skills.

  18. Great video 🙂 Tho as much as it shames me to admit, I let a bit of doubt eat away at my excitement for AoC, so maybe you can put my mind at easy with an answear in one of your future Q&A. I've recently was reading up about the summoner class and from what I understood the secondary archetype will influence the summons rather than the summoner and as such, how in the everloving f**k will ranger spec even work with summoner class??? More so that the summons are divided into tank/dps./support types @__@

  21. We will have a date for launch in 2023 sure but not sure it launch before late 2023 at the earliest. Very few with multiples years of following the game would be more optimist than this.

  22. Hope you had a great 4th! With as much effort they are putting into reliance on OTHER players, I can't imagine they would kill off primary healing roles. I think clerics will be fine.
