  1. Can't even begin to imagine what kind of person you gotta be to abuse that event bug. Like, you need to care enough about "not being on pace with others", which implies existence of ego. But then you need to be so god damn weak, to use that kind of strat to stay on pace (not really though). Some real weak shit right there.

  2. intrepid should just suspend them for the rest of phase 1 and if they get caught again, perma ban. There have been many games where this behaviour went unpunished, so I felt I needed to do the same thing to keep up. I don't want to have to do such. Please Intrepid, do something so I don't feel like I have to do the same.

  3. Lots of caravan issues, oh boy. I haven't been able to sell commodities for over two weeks. Everything is 0 sell price. All the tricks that I was told to do don't work, like loging out and back in, moving the commodities around in my storage, etc. Nothing. I've sent logs directly to a dev so hopefully that helps for phase 2 stuff.

  4. I quit playing when a big guild was exploiting a tank skill that would get you stuck when the tank would pull you with the chain skill. I called them out and they said I was a lair and kept killing me till I admitted I lied. I turned the game off and said F it. Sad that this is an alpha and we know there are bugs but people will deny it. I don’t have the memory or broadband to record/stream to prove I’m not lying in a video game. People are dumb.

  5. legendary weapon damage needs to be fixed before phase 2, i know so many people rushing those damn legendary forsaken bows literally on launch. it will take them 1-2 weeks tops with 5 day access to servers fully kit out guilds with legendary weapons, new players coming in are in for a world of hurt.

  6. I don’t think standing around at Titan’s Ring until the event starts is exploiting. Since the event gives 11K exp at a slow rate, it is slower than grinding conventionally. Of course not being at your keyboard is bad but if you’re just playing slowly I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that.

  7. also ashes should force a logout every 12 consecutive hours of being in game. Not prevent play after that. Just force logout and then they can log back in if they want. And give warnings before it happens.

  8. Yeah I took break from game for things you stated. I get the alpha stuff but you said it with the game has to be in a playable or semi enjoyable state for people to want to grind and test. I will come back at a later date and check it out and hopefully some of issues are taken care of

  9. A minority of players will ALWAYS seek out the fastest path to riches and leveling.
    Without any true self-reflective regard for using, what (most of us) see as despicable actions.
    They target their goal, then scorched earth all the $%^& way…

  10. Omg this is so pathetic. These are backers, people who have paid potentially hundreds to participate in the alpha test, cheesing for xp like absolute try hards, as if it hasn't been made crystal clear to them time and again what the alpha is all about. Stuff like this actually makes me facepalm myself.

  11. At 3:00 super simple solution: an event that creates an ice geyser that kills everything nearby. It should take a few seconds so awake players can make a run for it, but AFK are AF Ded.
    The Alt-F4 needs a two step process. If you disconnect, an AI needs to take over your toon, and if you log in before your toon dies or the logout timer expires, you return. If you die or miss the timer, you show up at your last spawn location.

  12. Unpopular opinion: I think the world as it is now is entirely poorly made and looks like a mess. Even the "themed grind spots" like Highwaymen or Ursine Cave. The rest of the map is just spots of mobs with no real design philosophy behind it

  13. You have to remember this is NOT a game! This is an Alpha we are testing everything its going to look shitty and have glitches and bugs everywhere thats what we are here for to report it and give them feedback. Thats it now if people are exploiting glitches and bugs thats literally to be expected. When its found out it gets fixed. Again this is not a game 😂
