What is Ashes of Creation?
Ashes of Creation is a unique take on the MMO game experience. The world is dynamic and built to react to the actions of us as the players. Settlements, Towns, even Cities will rise and fall, their populations based on the history of the world as the players create it. Quests will unlock as these populations gather, their needs grow, and secrets are unlocked. As the world’s NPC structure is established in real time, players will have the ability to destroy what they’ve created, paving the way for new development, new populations, and real change.

Ashes of Creation Lore
The story of creation tells us of a race of beings known as The Ancients. Created in the likeness of what was once The Ten. The Ten imbued all of their qualities into one race to have stewardship over all of creation. The power of the Ancients grew and a rift divided the Ten in how to accommodate their new creation. Three of the Ten separated from the others and began to teach the Ancients the Secrets of the Essence. When the Seven learned of this, a great celestial battle ensued. Eons passed and you watched as the fight continued within the celestial kingdom. When the battle was complete, the others and the Ancients were banished by the Seven into the Void. The Seven found the error of their ways and decided to split their qualities into four races instead of one; and this is how the Humans, Elves, Orcs and Dwarves came to be.

Ashes of Creation Classes & Archetypes
At the start of the game players may choose from eight Archetypes, which essentially defines a character’s role. This game operates on the holy trinity of class identity but gives us enough unique options that there is a blur between those identities. Upon starting you a character you choose a primary archetypes and a secondary archetypes, the combination of those can create any one of 64 different classes, meaning for more unique player driven game play that doesnt rely so heavily on a uniform meta.

Ashes of Creation Mounts
Mounts are obtained through an early quest that is available to players in starting areas.
– Ground/land mounts
– Gliding/jumping mounts
– Royal/flying mounts
Mount speeds are determined by the base mount that the skin is applied to Aquatic mounts are faster in water and slower on land. Land mounts are faster on land and slower in water.

Ashes of Creation PVP
PvP (Player versus player combat) is the catalyst for change in Ashes of Creation. Player combat is intended to be meaningful, ranging from Caravan battles to vast open world conflicts fought for the pride of Kings and Queens. Because players are motivated by different things, because they want something from the game that other players don’t want, that’s going to cause people to butt heads. Different players are going to want different experiences and the conflict between the two of them will create a bigger and better thing. Out of strife comes rebirth and that’s a core symbol, it’s a core theme that occurs throughout the game.
