  1. I try to be optimistic when it comes to new MMO's, especially when it comes to AoC. However, it's tough to not feel a bit nervous as AoC was funded at the height of crowdfunded MMO hype and we all know how well all the rest of those MMO's turned out. Still got my fingers and toes crossed though.

  3. Before I watch this, to make it interesting my prediction is the following: Alpha 2 starts early next year (maybe end of this year but it doesn't really change the roadmap). Alpha 2 will be ongoing on and be expanded for 1.5 years. Then Beta kicks in and the game will be polished for at least a year. So my optimistic release date prediction is 2026 Fall.

  4. I'm not a big MMO guy, but the wife is. This is how it feels for me: it's like StormGate – if the devs are committed and devoted to making a clean game that runs overall smoothly out the gate, then I have no issue in them taking time to make it work. My biggest issue is ( I understand they spend a lot of time on the dev process) not getting major or game breaking bugs handled in a timely manner after release. Those kill a game for me.

    Hope they keep it up, they may add me to their ranks for an MMORPG.

  6. As much as it sucks to wait, I’m completely sure that this game will launch in a quality state. I am less sure that the players of 2027 will appreciate the product.

  7. I'm almost 30 years old. I wish this releases while I'm still in good health to play it 🙂
    Jokes aside – end of 2025 is also my best bet. If they need more time – so be it.

  10. You're making the same mistake most content creators and backers of the game make, which is being far too optimistic about the dates. After Alpha 1, I made a prediction so pessimistic for A2 that I literally got shit for it from the community, and the problem with my prediction turned out that it wasn't pessimistic enough by a country mile.
