What is Ashes of Creation?
Ashes of Creation is a unique take on the MMO experience. Our world structure is dynamic and built to react to the actions of our players. Completely agree we are waiting for that game that will suck us in and take over so it is all we want to play. I believe Ashes could become that game.
Can't say that I want damage meters and add ons…for the most part that kinda thing has only had negative effects on the MMO's I've played. I absolutely detest macro's and I'm not a fan of build guides either. Perhaps I'm just old school but there is something to be said for actually 'playing' a damn game and figuring things out for yourself. Back in the day you had some really great console adventure games with puzzles or riddles you'd have to figure out…sometimes it would take days or weeks to solve…that was part of the fun of playing. Now people are in such a hurry to eat that they put pizza in the microwave…it doesn't matter if its soggy and has the consistency of rubber so long as its ready to consume in 45 seconds. Patience is a virtue…or as Steven likes to say (quoting Aristotle), "Patience is bitter but its fruit is sweet."

I hope T&L is good but it is ANOTHER eastern MMO, and it's probably being published by AGS. Which means more P2W and more AGS fumbles.

Great show, its sad T&L was confirmed delayed into 1H 2023, likely so come out around the same time as Ashes Alpha-2…so for me it's now a pass.
