What is Ashes of Creation?

  13. So, a couple points I want to touch on. When talking about the difference of testing with NW and other games in relation to their launch status – I think they suffered from changing their path multiple times and also they didn't really test alll that much. Nor do I think we know how many people were testing. With Ashes doing a persistent test with tens of thousands of people, I don't think it'll take long to test things.

    Also, comparing A1 servers with Ashes to NW launch servers I think is a little disingenuous. Have to consider all the variables in which NW was hosting hundreds of thousands of players across multiple servers with a completed game/assets while Ashes was hosting a couple thousand across a few servers in an unfinished world with unfinished assets etc.

    Great video though! Always enjoy hearing different takes on Ashes and listening about Ashes in general as you know lol

  16. @1:21:17 They already showed you how different the Shortbow and Longbow play was in the basic attack showcase. Now add the 4 augments of each skill onto that and your question is answered.
