pretty sure they mentioned AoEs will remain the same no matter the number of players it affects. Also no fast travel + a very large and varied world means zergs will exist and be OP but they can't just form everywhere at the drop of a hat which I think is good enough.
Do you think new ways of communication like discord have ruined the experience of MMOs and forums? What incentives could be had to encourage more ingame chatter?
From my understanding, the node population will be caped. So there will only be so many players calling a area home. So there will be large groups forming for raiding, world bosses, and oc course Zergs. However they will need to be organized and travel time will deter some. But rest assured there will be bands of large player groups roaming Vera.
