A lot of good information came out of the February 2022 official Ashes of Creation live stream. Nested inside that update was the information on Animal Husbandry. Not wanting you to have to dig through the livestream for all the little nuggets, I put together this video. I am now starting to see why Intrepid spent so much time putting out so many mount and pet videos, how much time goes into the animation, ai, etc. Do I think that the animal husbandry system is a core feature of Ashes? No. Do I think it will be a cool feature in Ashes that will do a lot to stimulate the economy? Yes, absolutely. Obviously, there’s only so much information that came out of livestream and we are going to waiting to get more information. Hopefully it comes soon.

as a ark/atlas player with thousands of hours across both games i can say that taming/animal husbandry is something i am so excited for in ashes! 😁👍
Thanks for addressing the cash shop skins, and why we would want to spend so much time on Animal Husbandry.
I enjoy them sharing mounts. Mounts are usually creatures you can fight in game too or use the skeleton for enemies/bosses. They help to flesh out the world in my opinion.
well, not just that you will have the stats on your said tame they will have a skin over there basic tame so your hard work would still be valid, but i agree with you there.
not a fan of skins but the way they are doing it I'm not really to bothered about i can deal with it for what they are offering in game.
i think farming is kind of misplaced in this game since we are not going to have actual farming like we did back in AA right J ?
or is it going to be that detailed too?
also, would our mounts/pets die and be gone and we have to replace them entirely?
i dont want my pet/mount to be killed and forever gone really
The work you do for this game and Intrepid Studios is incredibly valuable. And yes I know you don’t actually work for them, but you deserve a title. Even though I generally follow the game very closely, having condensed information like the many videos you’ve done are great for remembering little details I’ve forgotten or for showing off a system to a friend through a short video rather than trying to explain it all.
