I can finally agree with you PVP focused MMOS done wrong is lazy PVP done correct where it is meaningful turns into some of the best games ever made IE Wow and Eve Online. The hope I have for Ashes is to steal from New World on this and have a instance base (to the save the servers) prime time PVP and have PVP zones instead of open world.
I mostly do casual PVE (Dungeons, Raids, and Trials) in FFXIV but I also do a lot of PVP as well as Crafting and Gathering. I never log in and feel like I have nothing to do.
Oh, and I did an Open World Boss the other day – we probably had 30 people or so.

very cool. i just hope Steven is watching your videos and picking some thoughts. open world bosses and open world pvp will be rough and exciting. but superbosses should be instanced with some time to enter the zone.
never played guild wars 2, going to give it a go! Recent MMOs have been such a let down.

I have been thinking about what first caught my eye with your channel, and I still stand by (as I have pointed out several times) it was your creativity around and understanding for how MMO's work. I really hope you find the time to put on your creative thinking hat again, and then maybe make a series on what you think will be the difference and the abilities for the "64 classes". How do you seethe changing things up to justify 64 classes? I am sure it would be fun. 🙂 Atleast more fun to me then the latest videos about other games. But then again, I am but one nerd, desperate for some good videos. And my wishes means nothing if you're not making them 😉
