  4. I would argue it really depends how your time being wasted in the game. For example a creeper destroying your build or dying in Minecraft doesn't feel all that terrible and it creates something exciting about the game. But then it needs to be shitty things that being dropped.
    Your corruption idea I think would only be abused. Thats my take on it
