This video is an in depth look at server politics and how it will work in #AshesofCreation. We will use information from the #AlphaTest as well as what we have been told by #Intrepid and Steven Shariff. The goal is to bring up as much relevant information as possible in order to understand how interguild relations will work in Ashes of Creation. As we were told in the last development live stream, Alpha is when the community can have the most influence on the game through feedback so let me know what you think in the comments below!

  1. PVE players are going to be a sought after resource for the high end pvp guilds and alliances. In EVE online Alliances are made up of all 3 play styles Industry(crafting/gathering), PVE, and PVP. You need the first 2 to do the last one and a high level. There is a war going on in EVE right now on a massive scale.

The reason it started is because 1 giant alliance was getting to big and mouthy so smaller alliances formed a coalition to destroy them. 1 year later and the war is still months from being over.

Industry players are making a fortune from all the needed war material. The side that can sustain Industry capacity will win no matter how good the PVPers are.

    Great video!

  2. I think that people who don't closely follow AoC don't really watch videos where others just talk about the game, they watch Stevens videos without context and then complain that the game looks unfinished 😀

  3. We haven't even come out of the full NDA yet and I know of two guilds that went Red to annoy people, when they were told not to, and they no longer exist in the game world. That is another factor most other games do not have, active GM's enforcing rules.

  4. Another issue with Black Ops is you can only have one home. It's hard to be a spy in another Nation when your home is in your base Nation. At least I know it would throw a red flag to me

  5. I hope it doesn't get too Shadowbane, that's what Crowfall is for lol. But yeah I am eager to have player/server reputation mean something again!
