  1. As I have said before it is a risk you accept when it is 1 persons vision, ran and operated by 1 persons decision. Steven is excited to share what he sees and loves but he has nobody who can tell him "no" do not say this or do this or it is too early in the game for what you want to do. Remember all the excitement in Stevens voice when he was doing the siege the other day? He loves this game. When you play you will have no say in the game in the end. If it matters it will be Stevens vision only. Accept it or not it will not matter to Steven and if I had paid for the game I would be the same. We have all grown up playing a game and bragged what we would do to fix it or update it. The difference is Steven put up his $$ to do it. That said, I understand I am testing but if you wipe my character everyday please let me start out with a mount so I can actually do more testing. it is such a large world even that portion was are testing.

  2. I know Steven had said they took a chance on a different core software package, as a possible solution, rushed it, and it failed. But I figure these things happen.
That is why it is a true Alpha and I figure at least half the people that come to play in July are going to be disappointed.
Certainly there is a huge risk involved in lifting the NDA, but I still think it will be a good thing FOR TESTING.

All the "players" will bail, being "True Fans"(Thank you Tom McDonald for that phrase.),
leaving us "testers" in the pool with, hopefully, not too much piss in it… shrug

  3. Really appreciate these test updates. Question: Have you heard anything about repercussions on players/teams that attack a node/castle and lose? What are your thoughts on having consequences for attacking a node/castle and failing to win?

  4. This is a simple question. Is the day and night cycle implemented in to the game. In one of the old live stream Steven showed the sky box and changed the position of the sun in the game engine manually and it was amazing to look at but So far all the gameplay seen are during daytime.

  5. First off, love this game. Fully support and would absolutely the day this day this comes to market. But honestly it sounds like marketing is driving a lot of the decision making. This I disagree with. The engineers need to be front and center. They are BUILDING CUSTOM BACK END. The likes have never been before in this manner with such an aggressive and forward thinking idea. Obviously they are going to struggle (there’s a reason no one else has attempted a project like this) but it hurts to see the rushing of builds and missed deadlines, all the while constant cosmetic updates. They’re are bigger issues than “cosmetics” that need to be solved before this game EVER becomes reality. Honestly I think Steven is pushing/asking too much off his team right now simply because he doesn’t grasp what he is asking what is asking them to do. But all in all I hope they figure out a MORE productive path and can solve the current server issues.
