What is Ashes of Creation?
Ashes of Creation is a unique take on the MMO experience. Our world structure is dynamic and built to react to the actions of our players. I wonder how many of your viewers calling for bans also ride a crocodile mount. You know that mount is bugged and using it is an exploit. I like the Idea of carrot and stick. To me players that exploit should get punished but players that report and play inside the spirt of the game rules should get rewarded. Where's my carrots!!
Re: Pirate. One other thing that seemed to trigger people, was the fact that Thor wasn't going to sit there and have Yamato just talk over him constantly, CONSTANTLY, during the Discord call. I'm an older gentleman, and I really, really dislike when people do that as well. Start doing that in a discussion and I'm out. People can grow the fuck up and act like an adult if they want a discussion. It's a guideline of common decency as a Streamer to not be constantly talking over someone like that as well. It's why Thor told him it's over and left the call – and apparently, that got people butthurt, that they couldn't dramafarm him shouting at them, and then shouting over each other, for the spicy clickbait. PirateSoftware was the greater adult out of all of them through the whole situation. I will say though, the whole situation was doomed, the moment XQC was shown the clip. Between XQC and Summit, they both have an insane amount of hate raiding viewers, and that's where all the DTs would have come from. Because you would see that constantly happening back when Summit and XQC were on GTARP frequently. Anything negative happening to their characters, there would be a hate mob hunting down the other streamers to spam abuse to them. Happened ALL THE TIME. Summit's character blasts some cops and gets arrested? Oh boy, every cop involved in the cells is getting an earful from him, and then flooded in their Twitch chats by the mob.
I think if people are honest with themselves they know if they are exploiting or not. The only one I can excuse is fighting mobs at height. That seems kind of like if you find a spot to cheese a boss in Dark Souls. I’d give people a pass for that. And if it’s unintended then Intrepid will let them know and give another warning
