Ashes of Creation – May 2021 Update and Livestream Recap

Read more about Ashes of Creation ➜ https://ashesofcreation.mgn.tv

The May 2021 Ashes of Creation update is good, bad, and sad. To start with the sad, after five years, Jeffrey Bard has moved on to a new project. Jeffrey has a passion for the VR space and he has been offered an opportunity at Skydance Interactive to work on a VR project. For more about his departure you can go to the official website: https://ashesofcreation.com/news/2021-05-27-a-message-to-the-community

The big part of this month’s livestream was some of the homeruns that Kevin McPherson crushed about what they are doing fixing the server stability in Alpha 1. Another big part of the livestream was the 30+ minute video that you can check out as a standalone here: https://youtu.be/gI5yPLhDQYc

  1. I dont know how to feel.Me personaly or more precisely when i start working on some project with other people/team/group i tend to stick with it and finish it even fi the project ends up being awfull or dont get eposure/enough sales i will still stick by it and finish it before moving onto the next thing.I dont know i just cant leave something that is in proces or halfway bcs for me it feels like i was halfassing where i gave my time, knowledge just to then when my expertise was most needed i go somewhere else right in the middle of the porject.

  2. So much waffle in the two hour livestream. Thanks for the summary.
McP time was packed with high quality status/progress info. I quickly zoned out when Steven and Margaret were talking; I'm not a good listener when there's no bullet point structure. Picking facts out of a rambling chat is not my forte. I'm also hoping that we will stop seeing video clips padding out the livestream when the visual NDA drops.

  3. Speaking of keeping the pressure on gathers and processeurs, will their ressources keep the name of the one that collected it or processed?
Because crafter get fame through their crafts but gathers and processeurs should get some to for their work.

  4. Just what the doctor prescribed, easy to swallow information pill, thanks.

I have mixed feelings about Jeff leaving, on one side I'm happy for him he is able to pursue what he's passionate about, on the other I'm worried how it will impact the game, as he seemed very invested in this project.

The look from the ramparts on the fight down there looks awesome, and to think it's just Alpha.
