Ashes of Creation has too much hype and attention for a game that isn't even close to full release. I would be annoyed if I was really into AoC because of how long it is taking to develop and how few new MMO alternatives exist in the market.

Asmon is 100% either covering for the dev because he likes him or because there's some sort of financial connection between them. The game has always screamed scam and now that it's being put out in the open, Asmon is running defense.
No need to make a full game release when there are enough suckers buying into a playtest version of the game. Keep milking them for all they got.

Star Citizen has playable and enjoyable parts. I agree, it is severely limited by technology, they were way too early with such a project but if they scratched half the promises and just made a spaceship simulator, it could've been already great. Them forcing their vision may lead to its complete failure, the chances of it succeeding shrink day by day, but it isn't 0 yet.

Yeah don't don't trust those graphics, you'll need hands on experience for most of these games. I feel like nowadays developers would rather still be fumbling with the Unreal engine until it's burnt out as well since game devs have been dishing out game food with the same engine every day anyway.
