i think if people wanted to rather stand at a event to level up instead of actually grinding/doing quests that should tell you enough.

It's good to find all these things now. I understand why they don't want to wipe. You want people to get as deep into the game as possible and find all the exploits you can and wiping so people can restart isn't great for that. It's better for the players who didn't take advantage of these issues but the ones who did can still get further into the game and find more issues. Its a double edged sword, no good answer. Just glad the game isn't fully live when this is happening.
They have to wipe. A major system like node progression does not work. Progress on a character in an alpha is expected to be wiped. If you thought this is anything else you are fooling yourself. There is no content as planned.
A lot of hyperbole in this video and misunderstanding.
The stuff listed for phase 2 will come during the phase as a whole. Wasn't expected at launch. I wasn't expecting first week or so to be much different than what we saw at the end of phase 1. It didn't fit in their cadence. Plus they're on vacation for holidays (I do think going to a new phase right before most people left was a mistake).
We should see some stuff come up in January or early February. And even then, it isn't going to be everything promised for phase 2. The roadmap is what's expected by end of the phase.
I think wipes every couple months but give us 500% exp through alpha would lead to more testing and adjustments to the economy and balance. Lvling would be fine, if I didn't have to kill 750000000000000000000 shammys and bears! and that's just 9 to 10 hahaha little to late for me. act 2 first weekend was such a bad experience not sure why they would role it out and then take off for 14 days! starting to feel like they have no idea what they are doing 🙁 the map looks like some high ass 15 year old playing around with a editor tool. everything from towns to roads look copy paste, was really hoping for the next mmo, but with they way Steve is handling feed back, its not looking good!

I really think they are still working on server tech. And they have stated that the questing is not in yet. They have just hit a roadblock, and hopefully, they get it worked out so they can concentrate on other things.
"The quest system is lackluster" is a strange way to say "non-existent for all intents and purposes" xD Then again the listed content for phase 2 is to be delivered over the next 5 months. Small patches every 3 weeks, major patches every 6 weeks, guess we'll see!
Definitely agree, although I'm finding it difficult to playing phase 2 because of the sweatlords treating this as a finished game. IMO they should have extended phase 1 at least until January when everyone is back in office then launch phase 2. Still don't the part about having 6k players in a server where dynamic griding is not yet online and everyone is in an area meant for less than 1000 people resource wise. Will probably just take a break and come back in phase 3.
