  1. Rumor has it Narc is moving to my server, what a shame. I'm not a fan of Streamers and their sheep's in the 100s. But I guess he and all the other streamers are running away from Pirates, just shows you how bad streamers w/ 1000s of followers can destroy a server. With 40 full 50man guilds is terrible for a server and all the other streamers/players are leaving that server for a reason on 12/20.

  2. Much worse than criticizing what wasnt a focus of testing in p1 was his takes on a lot of WoWification of the game, the most egregious one being instancing the POIs in a game whose very is player interaction/conflict over limited ressources.

  3. Narc has openly admitted that he suffers from depression. Does that excuse the past 2-3 years of bullshit? No, not at all. Narc's approach to AoC or gaming content in general is to be controversial, even if it means looking like a complete idiot. He is definitely not a good spokesperson for the game, even with his followers. LazyPeon did more for AoC with his 30 minute video 3 years ago than Narc has done the entire past 3 years combined. This is blatantly apparent when the dude can't comprehend what an Alpha is.

  4. I personally had to stop watching narc. For every one good video, there'd be like 10 bad ones. Like others have said, he's a content farmer, and him critiquing gets views.

I also had watched his expectations of A2 before it came out, and he basically described a fully built game.

  5. I'm glad the topic of instancing came up down here in the comments. I'm an older gamer who started in Everquest. Some of my best gaming memories stem from the fights over dungeons. It was not uncommon so see two allied guilds work together. One runs the dungeon while the other massed up to keep others from attacking the raid group.

Its one of the things that attracted me to ashes.
