I Agree with the stances.
true stuff, the odds of building any momentum for a fighter in pvp is slim to none because by the time you get 4 to 5 swings off youll be dead already. Also the mobility, while a fighter has some, its just not enough. Try catching up to a Ranger or mage. Blitz should have a very short cooldown…… Wallop is worthless, lunging assault is trash, agree with lethal blow, rarely if ever use it. Need more cc's and cc breaks. Bottom line is fighters and Tanks need some love for pvp. Also overall output damage for fighters and tanks is way too low.
I hope steven sharifs team sees this and looks to implement some of it
doesnt art of war talent remove form cooldowns? if not i agree they should function like marks from rangers which basely castable anytime and doesnt interupt anything.
If they do class weapons so weapons' with bonus to x class skill, killng machine would work well here :p
master of arms would be good with secondary like fighter/Ranger might get somehting to incentive swapping to bow shooting a shot or 2 off then swapping back
Would love to see a second talent on Cataclysm that sends out a projectile like Maim's second talent augment.
Making the Stances no GCD and able to activate anytime would be dope. Great future ability suggestions, can't wait to see what happens come Dec 20th.
Most of the things you suggested on Fighter are most likely coming as Augments on the classes – since Fighter is an Archetype, not a real class. Shattering Throw style abilities and the "Funnel Vision" you suggested are things associated with Weapon Masters in D&D and Pathfinder (those are the Fighter/Fighter in Ashes and Ashes is based on a Pathfinder campaign Steven made). Weapon Master is also the inspiration on Arms Warrior in WoW (back in the day at least). You also may have noticed, some mobs already have a spell animation for Ravager, and those have the particles associated with summon spells, so you know what the Augment for Whirlwind will be on Fighter/Summoner.
Most likely, you won't ever get the Arms Warrior from WoW, not on a baseline fighter. PVP in WoW got to dogshit territory when they start homogenizing every single class so the game can be "fair".
As for Blood Fusion, they need to buy the bullet and make it have a shorter component that makes things like weapon combos and Overpower act like Bloodthirst and Lethal Blow like Victory Rush.

I made a suggestion to give Fighters a Captstone Cooldown Talent that would make them formlesss and it would be called "Be Water" (referring to a portion of Bruce Lee's quote where he says, "Empty your mind. Be formless, shapeless like water"). This talent would allow you to gain the benefits of all forms for x amount of seconds and while active you pause your momentum at whatever amount you are at. The idea is to allow us to have 5 seconds of berserk guaranteed as long as we meet the minimum requirement of 20 combat momentum when dealing with low momentum or extend berserk for at least 5 seconds longer if used at higher momentum levels. Additionally it would also allow us to maximize the use of Berserk for those seconds if used at higher momentum as well to keep presssure for a bit longer. The duration wouldn't be anything crazy maybe a 5 second duration and be a 2 minute cooldown. This talent would serve as mobility (with the base 5 second duration of berserk when at 20 momentum since berserk gives us movement speed), utility and damage. It would be balanced by the fact that it's 2 minute, though the numbers could be tweaked further.
The idea came to me from SoD's Warrior Gladiator Stance, but instead of accessing all abilities like warrior can in WoW with Gladiator Stance, it instead gives you access to all the forms for those brief seconds. Of course these numbers could be tweaked, to determine where they would be most balanced. It might be too strong, but with proper tweaking it could be a really fun capstone.
All i hear is make my class easy with no risk reward on my abilities, you save cc break or you spend it for dps increase , is a choice , and most other things here, make my classs braindead
Asking this because you are a hardcore player focusing on the PvP side. Why fighter? I hear it is not the best dps, and is outshine by other classes. Is it purely because you like the playstyle, while knowing you'll at the bottom of the damage capabilities and that this is alpha so you're not trying to min/max on class choice?
Additionally, with the amount of pvp you've done, which class do you recommend for someone who just wants to be annoying in group pvp? I want to be the most annoying possible (LOL), but not necessarily a high skill playmaker, more like that guy that keep following you around and you can't get rid of and cockblocks you left and right. LOL

Fighter is DOA in guild wars without a cd that prevents death for 3-5 seconds ngl. Or removing like 50% of spell penetration from mages
