  1. yeah honestly, pvp could be turned off before level 10, it doesn't take that long to get to level 10, and it would give people time to figure out their class and the game a bit before having to worry about pvp. Also agree, resurrect should come much later, it should be a chase for clerics to get, could be level 10 or 15 imo.

  2. I got from lvl 1 to lvl 10 non-stop fishing for about 3,5hrs and only got 5 rare fish ~15 green and one heroic, which is really bad looking at other gathering professions.

  3. I dont really understand the fishing change (sathrago btw), but i guess this might mean that some of the rarities just werent working? I have yet to catch a purple fish, but ive caught up to yellow so idk.

  4. (I believe) the development team has given players, whose characters are non-combatant level 5 or lower and in a starting area, the choice to opt in/out of open world pvp on the ptr. If players want to they can, if they don't want to they don't have to. If anyone is a victim of pvp griefing (and they are playing a character who is non-combatant, level 5 or lower, and in a starting area) and/or don't want any risk of potentially experiencing pvp griefing (and again, are playing a character that is non-combatant, level 5 or lower, and in a starting area) there is now an (additional) way to protect themselves against pvp griefing on the ptr. I imagine pvp griefing will always be a bannable offense (as well as other forms of griefing). If someone doesn't want to engage in (and/or experience the threat of, etc.) open world pvp (and are playing a non-combatant character, level 5 or lower, and in a starting area) they are able to opt out of open world pvp on the ptr. If someone would like to opt in to open world pvp (and/or the threat, etc.) of open world pvp (and they are playing a character who is non-combatant, level 5 or lower, and in a starting area) they have the option to do so on the ptr. There are factors to this feature that seem reasonable, objective, and impartial to me.💗😄🌄💚

  5. Did the developer just listened to our feedback and came in with a fix in less that a week?!
Wtf, we usually have to convince devs for years to make changes to bad systems and even then they don't listen to us…

  6. When you self interrupt a cast it shouldn’t go on cooldown. If you get hit with a “counter spell” or equivalent offensive interrupt by another player, then the interrupted spell should go on cooldown. This is likely the intended design, because any alternatives don’t feel as good: if somebody could just resume casting after you skillfully counterspell their key ability that would feel bad. At the same time, if you put your key ability on cooldown to dodge a boss mechanic, that would really contradict the freedom of movement philosophy this game has. Hard CC that is not specifically designed as a spell interrupt should stop the cast, but not put it on cooldown as well :^)

  8. as a cleric the ress nerf effects ya'll not us xD we can't ress ourselves. no more pocket ressing for DPS, we have to save our ress for tank or maybe second cleric. gg mages/bards/rangers/fighters, groups are going to be wiping like crazy i cant wait to see it lol

  9. I don't agree with this idea that low level players deserve protection from other players. The appropriate solution would be to automatically flag characters that are above level 5 in the starting area. This would allow players to defend low-level players from high level players.

  10. I have some observations through my own personal experiences I'd like to share about resurrection not having a 30 second cooldown timer in a pve group format. Sometimes when multiple pve party members have died, pve groups I've been in have been able to recover and persevere. I as a bard have in the past focused on healing the pve group, as well as have buffed my cleric(s) with cast speed, as they resurrect. I've seen members of a pve party kite and/or use crowd control on opponents as clerics resurrect. I've felt that due to these experiences/situations I've become a better pve player because I've been challenged to learn/improve ways to react strategically to them in such a pve group situation. I find it interesting that resurrection to recover will not be as frequently a viable strategy with a 30 second cooldown timer in pve group format. This of course is just one factor of a complex matter, as there are many factors to resurrection having or not having a 30 second cooldown timer in pve situations as well as in pvp, pvevp, etc. situations. The matter has complexities, pros/cons, opinions, observations, personal experiences, etc. and I am listening to everyones' feedback/observations/etc. Thank you for posting as I enjoy/learn things from your videos.😄
