  1. Transmog sucks it ruins visual progression and is bad for pvp and the way you recognize players by their gear and the renown that comes with it, they should of charge 20 dollars per month instead of having cosmetic bs like transmog, mounts sure but fu transmog.

  2. I'm surprised that there wasn't any talk of bots. I hope the developers end up having a dedicated group that finds and bans bots straight up. I like selling items and don't want my items to be under-cutted instantly like in FF14.

  3. 🟥Major red flags for ashes of creation 🟥 The developer is catering to asmoncasual and now he's doing interviews with left wing extremist piratesoftware. Tranny race inbound

  4. 16 Fighter on Lyneth – I’ll more than likely move servers this weekend due to 90% being <Actual Pirates XXXXXIV> ridiculous & this kind of crap will 100 % ruin the experience/server

  5. wait a sec, did I hear correctly that this games design philosophy would allow someone to find and equip an item, and still be able to sell or trade it? That's pretty unique! I guess that makes some sense, bc you can loot stuff off pvp players. That's pretty neat!

  6. I've never liked transmog. I like to watch gear progression actually make a visable change. Both for myself, and others. Sure sometimes youll look homeless… but when you find something cool looking it feel great. For pvp I want to be able to know if an enemy is wearing some god-teir item. Rather just rusty chainmail.

  7. All Gear/Loot can be equipped and traded amongst all. So how is that going to help dissuade gold buyers/sellers to buy their way to the best gear? Or is gear level and power not really going to matter? What am I missing here?

  8. I'm just gonna pop a question here. I have been watching this game for a long time, i am even a kickstarter backer even if at the lowest level xD I would never add anything more to a project like this or trust it until it is done or at least in a state where i can say, yeah this looks good.

The alpha 2 isn't bad at all. there is a huge lack of systems but they will be slowly running them out and i kinda believe that. I actually believe these guys or at least most people working on this project are trying their best.

But i saw a rumour that they have failed to pay their taxed and are as a company suspended by the state of Californias FTB. And that they have lost the rights to their name and someone else is even claiming it xD

So i do as i always do, being Norwegian and not knowing where you keep this stuff and no one providing me a link in any of their info…*sigh* I popped for a relatively short time in googling mode before i found it. And lo and behold! They are fucking suspended for not paying taxes xD Now, i saw someone say that they haven't payed any for about six years, but idk about that. the problems seemed to be taken action on in 2021 at least.

Here is link to show! Put in this code in the search bar and you will find them 3788290 (It says John Moore is the agent, go to intrepids website and you will see yes, the COO is called John Moore)

This is of course funny as hell, if you ask me Steven does seem to have quite a shady past even if i have had hope for the MMO and it seems he doesn't like doing things the honest way and rather try and squeeze it through no matter how. Most likely this is gonna tank the company unless some outside investor sees the project and both like it and is hard enough on the stance against Steven and others to do it propperly. That is wishfull thinking though and this could be old news for all of you idk.

Just wanted to share an interesting find and tell everyone to always be critical against a project like this! I don't hate Intrepid, certainly not the people working there or even Steven himself. But it seems here he is using a shady tactic at best to decieve us and that seems to be the truth wether we like it or not. So Narc, have you seen this before or is this new stuff? I couldn't find a single youtube video about it and the information is quite old.

  9. How is it possible that with all the insight that he has, Steven doesn't understand that cosmetics are pay to win in mmo environment and a very huge one. I have a slight hope that he will see this and properly reform the mmo games as we know them.

  10. In 20 years this game will still be on beta and we will still have content creators talking about how this game will revolutionize the game industry.
Ashes, Citizen, Paralives and so on are games that understood that the "community" economy is the way to make money online. And, to be fair, I dont believe people care about it. Dont don't really want a game, they just want the feeling and the community itself… So who i am to judge?
Wish they would only be clear about it "for this game we have no intention to present a final product that will be released. This is a play-test game to present out community with concepts and experiments,. You can buy an access for a range of time, but there is no guarantee of any golden release nor it is planned by any time."
