  1. Please read some post from the forms. On your stream. I agree there should be a completely different tear of corruption for low level grieving. It should be its own corruption state like maybe true corruption or tier 4 corruption where it stays on your account for no matter which character you play, for killing low level players, but the regular corruption system needs to go back and needs to be balanced for just regular PVP affairs people fighting of the same level or a little bit lower right now it’s too hard since it’s because they’re trying to accommodate low level grieving. I have a big support of PVP. I love it and I firmly believe that fighting over resources territory are two of the biggest and OK reasons to have open world PVP.

  2. Imma come back and rewatch the whole thing @nyce

    " I'm lvl 14"
    Nyce: "get your grind up!"
    Boooooi you craaaazy 😂😂
You may be a captain but imma have to blast you now 😂😂😂

I didn't say I'm also lvl 16 hunter, lvl6 animal husbandry, working hand in hand with Emperor (our mayor) making our city Joeva have the right upgrades, was there the moment we succeeded in a woodshop, was there the guild first raided a caravan, i even got wolves and bears ready for any caravan.

Shiiiiet theres a reason I ride around on a blue rare bear my boooooi!

    WildFyre staaaay grinding! 😂😂

When you went to bed after an 8hr stream, I stayed on another 10 for the win. But I understand, I think you got one more child than me family man. So I leave the highway men slashin and spider cave crushin to the front line soldiers.

But when you need those politics, behind the seen support, or someone to pull and with that 4v4 for you, im that dood, give them 🌹 fam!

    🫴🏿🎤

And to be honest if i didn't take fridya and Saturday to do a massage event for a bunch of dancers and a club, we would of been the same level like we were!

I'll see you in guild for that one.😉❤️‍🔥💯

  3. I made it to lvl 7 entirely solo (except for few instances where I helped someone out who was about to die and also the opposite) I don't care about what's meta and that the game vastly caters to group play, I was having a blast. Now, I will be joining a guild later on but right now I enjoy the dangers and strategizing of solo play

  4. Don’t know how many times it has to be said. You will never stop griefing in online games as long as there are people who cry about it. No systems put in place will deter them from it. Any of those systems will just frustrate normal players worse than the griefing itself.

  5. lionhold safe zone. bounty hunter system boost and make it much more important. if you pk everyone around you needs to look at you like free money especially if you are killing players lvl 4 or lower and you are like lvl 10+. after that you are on your own. need penalties but balance the harshness of it cause it might be too harsh now.

  6. i think guards can solve the problem. Give it needs to be implemented well. Guards need to be very strong, their numbers must be proportional to the size of the nod and type, there should be ranged ones, their view box should be a cone with range as far as the node' diameter along with close range sound reaction. Except for some dark ally most of the nod will be under their range and due to their numbers many areas will be under the view of multiple guards, they will also have high speed so that they can reach the point of conflict fast and some guards will even have cc skills. (I just dont want an immersion breaking mechanism if possible) I think there is a better way theb pvp suppression zone. I think there should be strong guards in towns and villages patrolling along with guards at gates, who would come fast running and start attaking those who attack other players inside the boundary of the village, city, town or encampment. Their visual range would be large and except for few dark ally they will come rushing. There can be multiple guards attacking if the attack is within the visual range of multiple guards. Anyone who dies at the hand of guard cus of this will lose their weapon no matter if it is their 1st pk or even if they fail to kill their target player. I think this will be best to keep the immersion of the game along with player protection. Of course Steven have said that in future there will be bounty system where people can put bounty on pk players . Along with all these i am sure greefing will be gone. PvP suppression zones wont help as much as people think anyways. Cus the moron whi wants to get you will just follow you out of it. Where as with the system i suggested there would be buffer zone out of the boundary of the nod where if someone attacks you then the guards near him will chase him for a long distance and new guards will come in their place while they are busy chasing.
But to be fair if there is some dude skilled enough to kill you in town even with guards attacking(may be kills a guard too) him and he lives, then i guess you should just except that there are mad lads like that and move on

  7. lmao right before the server wipes steven should do a group free for all and split the each sever up into 7 groups and the last ones from each group fight in a 7 man free for all and maybe give the winner a special price when the reedem and code the give them.

  8. Asmongold should just get in team with streamers and content creator as soon as he logs in and those who attack him get killed by his high lvl team mates. They can stay with him till he is comfortable and lvl up enough to go solo.

  9. Unfortunately the 10 mins Asmon got griefed was my first experience with this game, I watched what happened, watched that the Devs were completely unable to stop it atm. He literally had a group of people trying to keep him alive with healing but someone still one shot him from behind a rock. I know not everybody is going to get this same treatment because Asmon is Asmon, but seeing this completely destroyed my initial impression of this game. I like MMO's, but I'm not interested in this type of gameplay. Congratulations people who like this game destroyed it in 10 minutes for a large group of people, now you get to watch your game fail because the flow of new players has come to a stop. Nobody is going to pay 125$ for this. We'll wait for release, though I'm sure it will become another Star Citizen.

  10. The fear created by being pked is part of the allure. The risk is on the pker side. Ashes just needs to flush out the systems. I think cities n towns shouldn't be safe zones just have guards patrolling.

  11. I still really think the starter zone should be in Sanctus, ending when they go through the portal at whatever level they feel comfortable with. That allows you to control what can be "farmed", no pvp allowed, etc. Tulnar can have a similar instance starting area in a safe part of the underrealm, basically, and they exit it out of a cave near one of the portals.

  12. The best option for PvP and PvE content would be each starting zone has one town and you can only lvl 1-10/15 and get to apprentice in crafting. After that you have to go out into the world and face all the challenges to lvl up and craft/gathering resources. For PvP after 5 kills you go evil and you can lose some of your gear.

  13. That whole asmongold situation could not be further from the reality of the game as you explain, it was a low lvl ganking another low lvl without any consequence, the reality is no one is doing that at higher lvls, there is no real open world pvp.

The reality is they are going so hard on corruption that basically does the same as having pvp toggle on or off, no one wants corruption. Everyone just stays in their lane and try tag bating once in while. Watch GrappLr searching for pvp videos, the game is just awkward.
This just sucks… youre allowing pvp without actually allowing pvp
All you are doing is essentialy pushing the rules to "toggle" anyway, no one wants to be corrupted

Focus on guild / group even 1on1 declaration of wars instead
Make it toggle on and off, while On has increased XP and Drops chance so people are rewarded for the risk and actually have a real incentive to flag up

Turn certain farming areas and open world dungeons into PvP On zones.

This does not work in WoW because theres noooo incentive to flag up and the their pvp combat is beyond pure trash dogpoo vomit

I like the idea of no toggle, but it does not work when to counter griefing you have to go full throttle on corruption, it negates the whole pvp point, its basically forcing everyone to "toggle off"

  14. Why does it all have to be just one way?? Have different servers with all PvP and at least one with PvE but we can choose to flag. Otherwise you will always have some people unhappy. PvP always attracts gankers…

  15. Hey nyce — that is me you highlighted in the Chat Box (Steeler).
Appreciate your take and your videos. I do, however, disagree.
Besides the no-pvp area not being implemented – the system (and Asmons killing) is working as intended. And I'm no pk – unlike you (Ive seen your pk vids, well done).
Ive been testing and playing mmos since 1997 and almost all on pvp servers.
What we had here has been very successful, though I think the corruption is too harsh at the moment but makes sense for the early stages of testing. It will obviously be dialed-in in the coming years.
