I think it is also important to get the message out that with Agile, Intrepid have tailored their whole development process towards designing the game with the help of their customers, and being flexible. This is not a game that has been designed up front and has little scope for change because too much design has already been baked in.
The sweat of your brow quest will change, I have no doubt, but before it is finalized, Intrepid need the crafting system nailed down. Don't waste your time writing the tutorial/starter quest, before you know what the crafting system will be. We are testing the game, we are not dumb customers who need a tutorial quest. This is the core goal of the Agile system, by prioritizing design with your customers, you save time by getting it right first time and avoiding time-consuming rework. That is why the game is so rough, and why there is minimal polish, don't polish and paint too much before you have the structure built, it is a waste of time and you will just have to polish and paint again.
Not only is the whole project going to go faster, it is going to have far fewer kluges and ugly fixes in the code, making it easier to add features in the future.
Regarding the text size, actually it's not as easy as you think. What happens usually is they'll try to ensure that all text within all languages fit and work well. Sometimes this means they try to get the one size fits all languages. On top of that, people change UI size & not everyone has a uniform resolution. There's actually a lot of variables and considerations when it comes to font-size..
Lost ark queues was the worst Id get my brother to get me in queue when I was in work mid day n when I’d get home later on that day I’d still be like place 10,000….
people do not need to read much. it is enuff to have a quest windows there there is a different color with the location. ie close by north, further away north, far away north and then the quest goal. BUT no markers where exactly. Or it can be near castle <insert name here>
Guild wars 2 never had a queue for any launch or expansion ever. No server crashes or unstable launches. They are the gold standard for MMO launch events

We are bros! I don't watch sports either but I grew up in Chicago during the MJ era and watched the Bulls.
I have one of your collector hats!
The new ones should be a diff color or diff saying so those become collectible 😁

Great video, loved listening to this throughout

Character names 100% shouldn't have numbers and symbols in them that's super immersion breaking imo. It's not a gamertag.
Yeah the queue wasn't that bad, 7 hours in GW2 launch for me and I had a 10+ wait in NW hehe

I was able to fix the font size problem with a 55 inch curved monitor
