  1. Even tho its an early buggy mess, its to be expected and its some of the most fun I've had in the last 15 years of gaming. Cant wait to see this game improve as time goes on

  2. My biggest concern is another DDoS attack. It's evident that if they get attacked again nobody will be able to log in, unless they do some major changes or throw away money at extra servers to mitigate the number of requests. DDoS hurt small companies the most, unfortunately.

  3. Yeah no they gotta get rid of xp debt, the fact that they actually put in effort to add something like that into the game is extremely concerning. I don't want to have to pull like a grandpa because ppl are scared of dying, the grind is already boring enough as it is.

  4. I didn’t mind the grinding mobs at all. I built a 2h cleric using a spellsword that was absolutely deleting mobs, instant smiting mobs in melee that turns my burning procs into conflags which modifies my condemned spell to a 4s stun into an instant cast judgement that I dumped my divine favor into was a blast. I love the combos of the classes and the fact that I could grind endlessly just bc the classes felt so good and the combat felt smooth is a testament in itself. Looking forward to more

  5. I grew tired of the "after 8 years" and "less content than Alpha 1" people.
I got tired of saying "Kickstarter was *7* years ago" and "Do you think they just DELETED years of work?"

… Overall it was great for an Alpha Test. I've been doing them since Merdian59 and Ultima Online. Likely well over 200 games and 350 applications.

You KNOW "someone" is running scared somewhere OR super angry, when you get a DDOS with 290Million hits.
So many that the three edge protectors, including Cloudflare, couldn't protect them from 23 million of hits!
This morning Steven announced they think they had a solution. Not bad, 1/4 of a business day to solve? Maybe.
