  1. So this is, you pay 120$ for no content, and most staff you will do is grind mobs to lvl25, and you can't play this solo, you need to have group or you can't do nothing…so basicly is group mmo for people who have all time in world just for playing game…BAD! This first zone where they play now wich is not even finished they make that 8years. Crazy how you are not able to make 20% of game to be finished and smooth in 8 years…and this alpha 2 will be active like 1 to 2 years…good luck with farming mobs for next two years, damn fun game, very promising 👍

  2. I seriously hope that’s not going to be the final character animations. That looks like hot GARBAGE compared to what they showcased a year or two ago. These graphics are also super dumbed down from what I’ve seen from the devs. This is going to be another The Day Before.

  3. I've ben gaming for over 40 years and I have seen a lot of games in that time. One of the best parts of gaming now is the transparency of development. We had testing sure, but we never had social media access like a stream like this. These previews really give gamers a chance to sample the product BEFORE making a purchase. For me, my approach to games has never changed it never will, when the product is finished or minimally in a state to be released then I can make a good judgement on do I want to invest hours (possibly hundreds or thousands) into it. Of course this flies in the face of the current "early access" meta gaming companies use to fund their operations. Of course this is a marketing tool as some games, like Valheim which is technically still an early access game have been in a playable state for years.

AOC looks like a good game in the making. I have a positive outlook on this game but I can't "buy in" like some of the hype bros out there as a game in alpha isn't a good investment of my time or money. Why? because there are so many other great games to play. When this game gets to early access (mostly finished) I will take a hard look at it but I've got so many other games I am playing and loving right now AOC is years away from an investment of my time or money. On the radar though, thanks for showing it sawman. Cheers.

  4. All you crybabies do not understand what an Alpha in gamedev is. This is an alpha. You are not meant to " play a game" but to test, exploit and report said exploits, find bugs and stuff like that. If you wanna play a finished product, go play tetris or something else.
