In this video I go through my overall opinion so far on pre alpha 2 testing. I haven’t tested as much as other people but I will say this:
1. Performance is better than I thought it would be
2. Bugs are what I expected them to be
3. Combat is what we have seen on the livestreams.
There are bugs, there are rubber banding issues, leash issues, combat with ads issues. Plenty of bugs exist. There are also some fun things, like melee fighter combat, and the performance this weekend was solid.
Past performance doesn’t lead to future results though, and with the onboarding of potentially 6 figures worth of players this weekend, there could be issues. I am going into it expecting it to be a laggy mess, but optimistic that they will identify those issues and fix them.

I was gonna say it looks quite a bit like TaL
All I have heard since yesterday
1. Undeveloped
2. Not worth any playtime or money
3. Barebones systems
4. Combat sucks and feels bad
5. People are realizing it's has been BS this whole time
6. Zones arent developed like they said they were.
7. Meshing doesnt exist
8. Servers suck
9. I could keep going
I've heard nothing good and nothing outside people trying to cope. F
I hope they add some NPC idle animations at some point. I really hate how NPC's in some games stand around like statues.
Ill see you in the alpha, friend.
"most comparable to TnL" ICANT xDDDDDDDDDDDDD
I am not surprised an A2 game is in A2 state. Why do people expect it to be finished already?
Thanks for your input!
Nothing against those who have enjoyed TaL, but your comparisons make me afraid of what AoC will be like. My experience was very negative in TaL, especially the combat.
