  1. No amount of delay will save you enough testers if it's not a persistent alpha. This, along with the fact that you can flag, will kill Alpha 2 Phase 1 and it will have a lasting effect on the other phases. Don't get me wrong, I'm in favor of delays, but the only viable delay is Phase 3. I don't know why Intrepid thinks their game is ready. They really think buzzwords like 'alpha,' 'work in progress,' or 'subject to change' will shield them from a bad outcome. But everyone will treat and see it like an early access, call it what u want.

  2. Dont know why people are calling it a "scam". You know what your going to get and you pay for it, how is that a scam? sure you can think its too pricy but calling it a "scam" is just trying to cause drama. The alpha keys were at that price to not screw over previous backers. This will be an alpha we will play for 2+ years and you can access it for 100$. The more expensive packs include game time and in game cosmetic currency, If you subtract that from the total price the Aplha access cost slightly less then the 100$ (the price they are charging for A2 access)

People saying "scam" dont know what a real scam is

  3. i mean yeah the game is in alpha but those spot tests were quite literally almost unplayably awful. Desynch out the ass awful performance even on lowest settings with dlss. at least alpha 1's tests were actually playable, this one was just ass

  4. I’ll always support Ashes and be hopeful, but at the production rate this has been moving at, I almost feel like I wish I was just now hearing about the game. The last 8 years of limbo is a little daunting. We know Alpha 2 is estimated to take 2 years alone at best. 2028-2029 can’t get here soon enough.

  5. Public perception of the game will undoubtedly be damaged for alot of people that dont understand that the game is still in its test phase. But ultimately, this game isnt for everyone. Lets just hope that when it gets to release that people are still interested

  6. I get the feeling its not so good right now. Is it coincidence that many content creators have suddenly been less optimistic, advocating for the NDA to stay in place,, and seem to be tring to 'level expectations' since spot testing started? I'd be willing to bet both of my balls and whole ass that not only is there less content than people expected, but that content is in a much rougher state than expected as well.

  7. i don't think anything matters more than the fact that they're going to be openly testing for like a year or more, and the game will be completely solved long before it even releases.

  8. The only reason the NDA might matter is if they need more money to complete the project, a bad look could mean outside investment which means deadlines and bullshit microtransactions. Though if they don't need the money then the game releases looking great and playing great, which means a huge launch as people are the game is ready to play. It really depends on if the game is really fully funded. I guess we will see

  9. Prob should be under NDA for Phase 1, but tbh, they could show a complete mess and charge 1000$ to test it, haters gonna hate, and news cycle will cycle. If the game is amazing at release, no one will remember a thing. So I guess we'll see.

  10. first of all if its a scam its worst scam in the history of gaming since steven put more of his own money into this than he earned selling packs.. 2nd how u gonna have NDA with 100k+ ppl.. not realistic also if game is in playable stats the sooner testing starts the better who care about those weird ass kids following whatever asmon says he can say its shit and after 2 min says its greatest thing ever and 99% of his viewer would be like trueeeeeee.. we have been wating for this game way to long already and its not even close to being finished i dont see a reason to not lift the NDA it seems playable as much as we saw sure if u are not braindead idiot u wont be playing this 10 hours a day in alpha haha
