  1. I am excited for Ashes but I am on the fence if I think it will be successful. I want to say yes but everything tells me no. The fact is that more and more gamers now a days want to play solo as much as they can in MMO's, they don't want to communicate, and they want a chill and easy going experiance. MMO's have released that has tried to break this mold in the last 10 years and each one has failed hard, even if they had a successful lauch. PVP MMO's do even worse.

    My feeling is this… The first few months are going to be great. When/IF the game releases it will hit some highs. People will say its the first real kickstarter MMO success but by the end of the first year the game will be at a low low point and people will move on.

  2. by features yes,if take current combat system No!i follow game from kickstarter,but in my opinion this combat going to the wrong direction!Pure action is only way + a bit faster combat!

  3. First of all, mate, AI voices have come really far, and I think that would work really well. I can imagine that it would be awesome if there was an option to use an AI voice for your character, and he/she could read all quest texts if you like. Intrepid could get a "voice designer" to create different race presets, and players could learn to understand them. Ok, now I am tripping here 😜 but focus on the possibilities, man. Btw, Ragnaros talks to the players, and that is awesome!!

  4. People still remember this is an alpha to test gameplay and systems right? With wipes and presumably placeholder content? Geared to drive people towards what they need tested and not experience?
    I've been the "it's an investment scam" naysayer but am I the one high on cope now?

  5. Press doubt to doubt. WOW has the Elite Assasin buff or what ever, where in open world pvp you kill 10 people without dying. Then you become a mark on the map for everyone to see, killing you grants a fuckton of stuff if you are a Horde/Alliance assasin. Here's the thing, 10/10 times that person is in a pre-made group or has pocket healers. Anything other than gathering items dropping is a huge nono, as you WILL be constantly dying in an MMO game weather you like it or not.

  6. I've been playing Mortal Online, a PvP mmo where skill is king and filled with epic moments. I hope there's skill expression in this game to the point where the skill gap between new and veteran players is gigantic.
