  1. Just like all the doomium clowns in Narcland, I bought my Phase1 keys and will be there in the queue on Day 1. So they huff and puff and cry their houses down, we laugh at them and we'll all be in Verra on Nov 8. I don't sweat cultists calling other people cultists 😆

  2. Steven Said He needs more testers ….. Without even the attempt to Host Servers for the 100k+ backerz …. Thats Not only laughable … Thats outright disturbing …. Feels Like a complete lie in my book

  3. To praise IS for rightfully rewarding backerz to get their hands on the Game early totally misses the Mark too ….

2 weekends ? 2 freaking weekends ????????????? ….. This is humiliating …. I could make a Montage of Steven saying "risk vs reward" 100 Times in different Interviews and AMA and Livestreams …. He wants to Honor risk with reward … In this Game AS a core principle …. What reward do i get to risk my Money and fundig this Pipedream of a Game ? … Waiting and hoping for multiple years spending more upfront than i ever did for a Game …. I get 2 freaking weekends ??? Thats a Punch in the gut … And if there will BE Queues even though He "needs more testers" … This will BE the finishing move for me as a Person who trusted him …

Others Game have tierd Access too and If you can Play a few days earlier … Thats Like 20 bucks or something in Most other Games …. That IS the total opposit of honoring my risk taking … That IS kickin me as i am down …

  4. In your Video you Claim that WE now know what to expect …,.. BC the expectation have been Set by the roadmap ….. Steven broke our expectation that He Said time and time again …. So WE know as little as any other time … Why believe hin this time …. When in this roadmap He redefines what Alpha 2 means … Breaking previous expectations … ITS baffeling how LITTLE critical people are imo

  5. The problem is Simple. You cannot have crowd funding that goes on years. The only way it works is if it gets finished quickly. Why?? Because you end up milking your player base to the point where on launch day, you won't have new players buying in. And by time it releases the tech is out of date because of long development time.

  6. All my homies hate the drama and cultists but what my homies hate ever more is being treated like children that better not know whats happening so they arent worried lmao

    Based video, Nyce! 👏

  7. I’d be more critical if it wasn’t for a few factors.

The progress they made in the last year has put some of fears to rest. Especially with the server meshing technology.

They also hired a bunch of people recently. I’m sure at one point Steven would have been able to self fund the project but it’s gotten much bigger now.

Lastly. Have you seen these people when they play D&D? It’s really hard for me to imagine these dorks being scammers lol.

Now if we start seeing these means of monetization more frequently coming up to beta and realease then maybe I’ll be more worried. For now I’ll keep faith!

  8. Other people are willing to throw money at the development of an exciting game and become dedicated testers to its benefit? Pretty awesome from my perspective. Thanks guys!

  9. Always complainers… anyways… The only complaint that seems warranted is the time it is taking but that is just how it seems to be these days. Like TL has cost a lot more, has been in development longer and it is crap… so if the Ashes devs deliver most of what they have talked about and the game runs reasonably, consider it a huge win, IMO. Hopefully up and coming AI tools help with MMO development, this genre really needs it.

  10. I never felt like the original pricing was bad. I compared it to their subscription structure. You do get your value's worth of playtime if you start in any of the phases. I'd be writing a script for a whole video going over it all if I had to cover every part of the argument. Only thing that I felt was bad was not having Beta access, but they fixed that immediately. $100+ for that many months of a subscription based game even in incompletion is not a relatively bad value.

  11. Now is the time, more than ever, to be critical of Intrepid. But we have to be respectful of course. One thing we shouldnt tolerate is any blatant disrespect fie the developers.

Most of us have no idea how hard game dev is, myself included, so ill never fault them for trying and failing at something. But we should be critical when it makes sense to, like with communication and changes of plans, etc.
