The amount of people that can't seem to factor in that Unreal engine going from 4-5 took a good chunk of time and than you add on the fact Covid literally halted all job production across the world. It boggles my mind how narrow minded the general population is. This game literally has maybe 4 years of actual production at the most.
I enjoy how they are releasing things, way less chance of burnout of testers. Peaope that are mad currently are just silly and should go play Princess cupcake MMO island.
there was no misunderstanding… they delayed the real alpha 2 launch till May.. anything else is cope. now how u feel about that is up to you but lying about it is silly.
The funny part is that we as the hardcore followers of Ashes get upset with the amount of times they do their little disclaimer about it not being a finished game because they say it so much. I then watch these recap videos and see why they do it as still so many people just can not wrap their heads around what an alpha even is…
Do I have the money to buy A2 access? Yes. Do I think A2 is worth 110USD? Not to me it isn't. Im sad about it, little dissapointed. I wish to be part of it. Im very passionate about the project and about MMOs, but paying that much isn't worth for me. What do I do? I control my emotions like an adult and not lie and shame intrepid and say it's a scam. People really need to work on their emotion regulation 😀 Just don't buy it. Wait until content creators show you the videos and streams and you can still follow the development that way. There will be Betas that you can probably buy access to. Now I do think they should include beta in these A2 keys. But it's their decision and I can't do nothing about it so why be mad about it. Nobody is forcing anyone to buy anything.
I personaly bought the Beta2 package just so I can upgrade it later is I wish to. These packs are great since they include playtime after launch and other stuff which make them "worth it" for me. People who are angry about those packs not being available anymore.. well that's just how it is, someone was there sooner and had the opportunity to buy it, you came later and the opportunity is no longer there. I don't see it as unfair.
Really what is all comes to is people think they are entitled to something, they have some expectations and when not fulfilled they get angry. (like little kids) This is what makes me sad and kinda angry.
are we really wondering why people are mad? Jesus, there's no way in hell an alpha2 only key would cost 120$. I know they keep on saying no need to buy it, but people are dumb and Intrepid know this. Opening sales again is predatory. They shouldn't have done that, reselling keys.
And Margaret saying there's also a chance they open sales for Beta which is so stupiiiiiid. wtf are they thinking.
I won't be surprised if the community implodes, the white nights and the mad people seeing the money grab moves that Intrepid is doing.
