  1. The bald funny copium guy when he's at home:
you know, sometimes I wonder if videos where I speak about what I believe in and how I think Steven Sharif would improve as a Creative Director, Leader and pioneer are just detrimental to this channel and the goals I'm trying to achieve.
I want Ashes of Creation to be the best game it can possibly be so how do I deal with contraversies that Intrepid Studios put themselves into?
Am I supposed to ignore them and pretend everything is fine? Or am I supposed to try to defend the project, directly opposing my beliefs?
I have no desires for personal gain, money or fame – I am just a random nerd who stumbled upon Ashes of Creation one day when grinding in Black Desert Online and felt a surge of inspiration from Steven Sharif's speech during an Asmongold interview.
From that moment, I worked tirelessly to become the man I am today, learning a skill I had never attempted before but ended up being a natrual at it.
It allowed me to express myself in ways I had never been able to before and I am forever greatful for this oppertunity and have enjoyed Stevens commentary on my unique style.
But as of late, Steven has expressed his distaste for my presentations and passion towards what I belive to be right for the game and sometimes I wonder if he wishes I would just not address them.
Steven seem to acknowledge the message of them videos I made (Their extremely poor communication skills) but is happy to dismiss the videos publically as "vulgar" or "unproductive".
When I first brought up these topics a few months ago I was labled as a Conspiracy Theorist and berated by this so called "Wholesome and welcoming" community and it makes me question whether what I am doing is the right thing.
I've spent every waking hour for the last 4 years of my life, working to try and make Ashes of Creation the best game it can be in the only way I know I can, by being a Content Creator who has reach and influence to inspire audiences and developers to be excited about Stevens Vision.
How can anyone be excited when this Kickstarter Project has been bleeding it's community dry of funding for 8 years with delay after delay, fomo after fomo and broken promise after broken promise.
When does it become too much? when does it no longer become believable? Are they just winging it and counting on the fact that people forget what happened a couple of years prior and will continue these types of practices in the hopes that nobody speaks up about it?
I wonder what the future holds for Ashes of Creation.

  2. The new alpha keys is something C.I.G Star Citizen would pull wtf! I’m ashamed to be an Alpha 1 tester. These key buyers don’t even get beta access or the game 🀒 it also cost more than other games just to test, yucky

  3. Didn't they clearly say it didn't provide beta access in this promo?πŸ˜‚ So what they back pedalled? You gotta love when devs try and scam like this it's like a store over charging your credit card in case you don't notice and when you do 'oops we will fix that'. People will bend backwards to facefuk there own assπŸ˜‚

  4. Only critique I have for you is to consider how many people see the title and thumbnail of your video only. Because that is the story, regardless of what you say in the video over half the people that see the video are only seeing the title and thumbnail. I Would be more mindful of the emotions I am trying to invoke out of others with them. Besides that, you are one of the few content creators that seems capable of giving constructive criticism. I will say seeing all those 2017-2019 messages saying they will be fully released before Covid even became a thing is jarring. Even from those dates it is clear there would have been no time for a Beta.

  5. Truer words have never been spoken. I am just a silent observer and I just want the game to be good. I'm not going to spend a dime on this though, it kinda seems that… Steven is a liittle out of touch. Casually dropping 120 bucks to be allowed to bug-test an alpha? And that used to be 'just' the alpha, NOT beta. They backpaddled on this to now also include beta access.
Usually you get a discount for the actual game, like say.. with valheim. You buy an unfinished game to support the developer, and as a thank you, you got the game at a lower price than it has with its final release.
What rubs me most wrong with this is I know there are plenty of people who are desperate enough to buy the key anyway. Even if "you can choose not to buy it, blah blah" let's be real here, it's a dick move to capitalize on those people. Let's not advertise this as something that it is not – a cash grab, just say you need funding.

  6. I'm not defending it. But i will say they are in a difficult spot. Lets say they charged 50 bucks for the open alpha….the people who spent 250 are gonna be pretty upset, even with the rewards the 250 bundle gave it wouldve been more efficient to buy the 50 dollar one… unfortunately 100 is the only price i think would not piss off the people who bought before the keys went away. It would've been better if they communciated all this stuff to us months ago but they kinda skirtied around it.

  7. Stopped supporting AOC very early on, they promised to support ALL playstyles, then made it apparent that very would not be supporting the play styles that they didn't think much of. They spoke about supporting ALL community, but then made it clear that your thoughts meant nothing to them, unless you had personal value to them (aka a content creators).
I mentioned to them years ago (via pi) that they'd be much better stopping Steven talking live because of his own self contradictions, but who ever listens?
This announcement (paraphrased) "this is not a game, this will NOT allow access to the game" followed swiftly by "we are doing these alpha keys because a lot of people have only just discovered Ashes, and we wanted to give them a way to access the game"

  8. Not caring that much about leeching beta testers. Some people are ready to pay to help testing. But even vanity items behind paywall could be reason for me to not play the game. Looks in games should tell more than you bank account balance. I take double per month payment and no moneyshop "i don't have time to play as much as others" -people.

  9. Dude. Shut up. stop complaining like a twitter troll. i literally paid 500$ for a pack in 2021. Games are expensive and 100k testers is NOTHING COMPARED TO WHAT HE HAS PLANNED.

  10. also you didnt even explain the possibility that they are charging this much to keep bot trolls out. Imagine having a beta test that only cost 10$ to enter. you and all your SHITTER troll viewers would join and completely destroy the game. all of asmondgolds viewers would jump in and destroy the whole experience.

  11. Ppl are just dumb. Every other mmo had those alpha tests and ofc you could buy access. They are not inventing those paid alphas.

I like how those bojos didnt cry about paid early access in mmo for 80$, but crying literally about buying optional access to beta that will be wiped later.

They not inviting you to play the game and they not selling you a finished product. They inviting you to have a peak on the game and be a hamster for them.

Like, dude… Its okay to not be a part of alpha test. You not missing anything. That shit will be realised sooner or later.

Fking fomo Andy's are out of control. Get your shit together and learn how to live wo feeling fomo, goddamn
