While I'm not too disheartened by the A2 delay, I do agree with Sunny and Koala. They announced Q3 a year ago and have hammered the point home that it will be rough, so a delay insinuates that something integral isn't ready.
That's all fine, but it doesn't make me confident for the cadence of Alpha 2 or what content will exist at launch. Hopefully the AMA can quell any concerns.

What sunny echoes my thoughts on the date, they did not have to tell us quarter three and sense they did its the first time in my time with ashes that they did not live up to their promise. I am fine waiting a month but it is disappointing. SO as a member of Dunhold, we were very happy to see a dwarf ingame even tho we mostly all hated the flip. Bard was cool and I think people are excited about it because its new and different from what many people have seen in our old MMOs but I actually do not think many people will play it as its not the big damage dealer that most people like. We will see tho.

I experienced at least a couple delays waiting on Alpha 1; it is the way it goes with software development. Keep the faith! We'll get into Alpha 2 before long.
