Like I've always said. Make all the builds viable.
I mean how do you avoid meta builds? I haven’t seen any company solve this problem.
One of the things that makes me more hopeful for ashes when it comes to balancing, is that one day Steven said that he was taking lessons from dota. Dota is like league but character abilities and items are turned up to 11, there is some crazy stuff that is not allowed in any game like it. At the same time it is one of the best balanced games I have ever played while still having the most significant updates of any pvp game I have seen. The reason they can do that is they buff things to match the strong items/characters, and not nerf the strong stuff to match the weak stuff.
