Swapping between main hand and off hands is not what the opposition people are referring to here. It's the idea of swapping with other gear in your bag mid fight. You come up and start a fight with a ranger and suddenly he's a sword and board tank? The idea of "having the best gear available for any given situation at any given time" is the definition of cheese, extremely non-immersive and something I am very much against. I would be extremely disappointed in Steven if he decided to go in that direction. Note I am ONLY applying this to while in combat situations. It's one of the systems that a certain AGS game that shall not be named didn't decently.
