  2. Love the new format Narc. Btw have you heard about Gigantic? I know you're a nerd and all but I'd love to hear your opinion on it. It's shooter/moba and I've got a good feeling that a lot of aoc players could enjoy it. Sadly the powers at be are on a crusade to destroy it so some extra exposure could help a long way.

For them to use Nanite displacement Intrepid will have to use UE 5.4 and above, if I'm not mistaken they are currently using 5.0.3 (which is quite a huge jump in versions and will break a lot of things). A cool update for UE though, is also 5.5 where they have Nanite skeletal meshes, which will have almost infinite detail, can have hundreds rendered at a time, and be rendered at large distances 🙂

  4. This may be a hot take but i think Narc is one of the best things to happen to AoC, he brings attention and good ideas to the table which allow the game to grow positively in its infancy. Im sure the team appreciates the feedback and i look forward to your vids ✌️

  5. They should do skill trees like Last Epoch, where you have many options for each skill, but only a limited number of points you can put into each skill. LE does it with maybe 20-25 skill points per skill, but you have 40+ options for each skill tree, so you have to make a choice instead of maxing out a single skill's potential.

  6. I would like a pool of special high level abilities. Everyone gets one, two, then three at a high level. Spend them on insanely good mobility skills similar to an acrobat category. Ok now you aren acrobatic magey-like char. Another group could be Engineering related skills allowing you to create things. Create turrets for friends, explosives for caravans to blow up rocks as well.

  7. The thing I'm most worried about with Ashes atm is the multiclass system. How is a Hunter going to feel different to a Highsword? Steven said multiclass will be augments like the ones to Maim… but then does that mean a Hunter and a Highsword both have the charge, Whirlwind and Maim abilities, but just reskinned nature-y or golden, respectively?

    I hope they're able to make the classes feel different gameplay wise.

  8. 10:22 and following: you realize that this would be a balancing nightmare? for example, a group should need a tank, right?! what if the group consists of hybrid-classes able to chain-cc everything? then a tank would be irrelevant and probably the dps could be even higher without such dps-stumbling-blocks.
    At least, save the tech for later, keep things pure and shiny, contorte them in later content…

  9. It would be so very epic if the videos' chapters could be linked as timestamps in the description, that way they also get added as timing points in the video timeline to easily navigate from chapter to chapter.

  10. Main – summoner/cleric necromancer if augments arent just cosmetic with a focus on making poisons and if they dont have poisons then scribing. Alt – rogue/rogue or rogue/summoner but the fighter showcase got me theory crafting a fighter/rogue build
