  1. Well since you already paid the 50 bucks at least you can make another video in 5 weeks from now. It was fun and you might be onto something refreshing for your audience.

  2. I’m usually someone who is easy to please with open world fantasy MMO’s but this just looks… awful. I feel bad for saying that but the animations or attacks, running animations, just everything thing seems so.. bad. :/ hopefully they will improve upon it since it’s alpha but idk.

  3. And somehow Project Gorgon, a project with 2 people, is able to make more engaging handed combat than this with Meditation and combos. You'd thinkg Pantheon could think of SOMETHING! I'm not expecting Diablo 3 monk but god damn is this sad.

  4. Games combat opens up about lvl 10 it gets strategic and is more fun then it looks. The 2 zones are huge. The day ,night cycle, stars ,sunrises, sunsets are great. Sure theirs things that need to be worked on but i really enjoyed my time ingame. I loved finding hidden areas without a map , dark caves full of surprises and danger.

World feels alive. Monsters change after dark and so do gathering items.

The first zones i played were bigger then most full games ive played. Overall the game was fun it becomes addicting like osrs addicting. The starter levels were a bit slow but the combat really improved into strategic play by around lvl 12.

Honestly i had a better time in pantheon then most games ive played recently. I kept being determined to find the hidden caves and exploration was fun.

The game sure needs work but so far i had a fun time in it.

  5. Can't believe you didn't go get your class spells lol. They were sold at your trainer. Other spells drop in the harder caves and camps. You missed out on alot not picking up all your skills.

  6. Man at this point Im not sure if I should ridicule or feel bad for them. I mean, 10 years of development for THIS? Imagine having this on your CV and trying to get a job in the industry. Awkward.

  7. Pantheon is suppose to be for EQ fans. This is how EQ grind looks like back in the days. You'll appreciate the game more the harder it takes. You'll appreciate the game more without maps after you venture across scenery and imprint location in the back of your brain. People always complain about modern mmo because they can rush to end game in like 3 weeks. And then what? You don't appreciate anything then move on to another mmo. rinse and repeat. Perhaps the graphic can do a little better but I think this is perfect as is. Not affiliate with the game fyi

  8. Game: "This enemy will pose a great challenge."
Him: Fights it naked at lvl 1 with fists
Also Him: "Idk why I died, did it crit me?"

    TERRIBLE showcase of the game…
You can't play the game like a 62 year old dad that can't even use a joystick and expect anyone to take your opinions or criticism seriously…

  9. Ever since Brad McQuaid passed away, Pantheon became a scam with the development going backwards from where it was by that time. We did have the other races as playable, there were flushed out quests lines, though limited, there was more then there is now. Just looking at the game play from what you showed… The game is built on the old Everquest source code, using old assets combined with what looks like stock assets (I'm sure there are some artists there, so I do apologize, but still feel that little to no real work was done). The game is definitely not what it looked or played like 4 years ago. Hell, I would almost argue that a partner left that might have owned assets forcing them to remove said assets from the game. This looks so watered down from what we used to see, especially when you saw people like Cohh play with the Developers. Even the back step to change the game… I'm partially wondering if they continued to lose staff, and never really cared to replace. I remember them raving about having this new technology for MMO's that would revolutionize how MMO network stability with multitudes of players on the same zone / area and how other companies were reaching out to get their hands on that software… … … Over the past 5 years, nothing has really happened with Pantheon other than fluff messages, false claims, and very little to show for it. They showed their hand and lack of interest in developing this game when they suggested changing it 9 years after development started. It's been a year since they back tracked after the community came together and shot that plan down… and we still haven't seem much if any new content. Just more, "hey, gives us money to play what we have" messages. People just need to stop buying into a dream of a "Spiritual Successor to EverQuest" because we crave for an old school MMO. I gave up… I gave up on DayBreak after they pull the "EverQuest Next" fiasco that spawned "Landmark", between 2012 to 2016… when it was cancelled. But I will say this much… Landmark probably had more functionality, and looked hella better at that time, then what we see in Panteon. Hell, it was the first time we would see voxel type system that we are seeing more often these days. DayBreak has recently come out stating they are now looking at Developing a new EverQuest project… … and I just have a hard time buying into any MMO at this point that is not ready to release, or at least hit Beta and can show an almost complete game. Ashes was the last MMO that I was willing to finance 250 bucks into. But between Pantheon and DayBreak feeding off us old school EverQuest players desire for a new more modern version of a classic MMO that we grew up with and loved…. I have lost all faith and hope that such a successor would ever happen at this point. Currently, I consider myself out over 2k in finances between games I put money into that inevitably failed to release.
