The biomes that we were told would be in the A2 were basically the west continent. Riverlands, Desert, Jungle, and the Badlands. The Redwood Forest and Tabletop Mountains are unsure.

Just did a quick discord search for A2 and most of what steven has said to be part of it is all there 🙂 the riverlands zones, Sandsquall desert and the Tropics
with it being persistent too im sure it will start off quite small

Stop talking about marketing pushes – because there won't be one for A2.
I think Alpha 2 will be great for content creators, in the sense that there will be many updates, and as each one happens there will be new material to broadcast. I get that if people can't play then that will be a downer but there is a guestimate of 150k people who already have Alpha 2 keys. I for one will be looking at most Alpha 2 stream content, even though I will also be participating in it.
Good thing for them is most of the mmos are getting cancelled for example Riots MMO , so i dont think Ashes will have any competition
It looks like a good game and looks great. It will be successful.
In the long run it will fail if it relies on pvp as the content.
Games with pvp are fine games that rely on pvp fails.
As for the star citizen comment its a game you can play right now 24/7 for the low price of 45 dollars.
You can support the game for more if you want but it adds nothing to your game. Everything that the game offers can be
acquired in the game just by playing.
AFAIK, AoC will be a subscription based game. So a perpetual alpha with a package buy will not work as well for them as they can't charge a sub for an unfinished game. Or can they? I guess you never know with MMO fans being so desperate and starved for anything worthwhile these days.
Lets be real, they are too late at this point…
Bro it's on you the content creators to warn your audience in every video you make that purpose of the alpha 2 is testing and cooking the game not near to a finished product that should be judged or reviewed
