Hey what up bois, I'm really hopful for Ashes of Creation this year and as we approach the fated Alpha 2 release, some changes will be happening to the channel.

One showcase, right before A2 final start date is announced, will be showing off the fully standalone character creator and it's release…. Because of the depth they want for the creator will require an hour at least to show off.
Been showing this to the wife, Going to be so much fun playing this game . I will be running heal tank and she will be dps with stealth. I am confident that anyone interrupting our hunting and gathering will face a tough fight. I am also sure we will find a group of players that will value our play and combat abilities.
I would love to see the primary ability kit for each archtype. And if they have time, they can include the secondary kits. We still have not seen how or how many skills will be added to complete their class. No video will be needed. Just a slideshow will be fine.
We also need to understand more Artisan Skills. There are still crafting skills we know nothing about. These include Arcane Engineering, Jewel Cutting, Scribing, and Stone Masonry, ect… Will smoke bombs and poisons be part of Alchemy or Cooking? So many general details we know nothing about.

Anyone know if there's any chance of a persistent alpha/ early access? Haven't heard them talk about that since like 2018 but they never said they were walking that back. Just stopped talking about it

Though, I would move pvp and naval to june and move those list above june up a month.
PvP and water mechnics tend to be last things balanced and bug tested in a game.

I dont know why intrepid studios doesnt hire you to do some landscape……or quest lines, you are very creative ! But you would have to give up wearing steven on your body LOL

Nodes 4/5 showcase that isn't a static build. Siege warfare. Naval warfare. All the archtypes that are still not in the game.

i just cant seem to find a game to play. i feel like every game i play i lose interest fast. I am full on just waiting for this game hoping that it will be the end all be all game that brings mmos back from the dead mans land of mmo genre.
Narc i have a question for you. Since i consider you an expert on qll things ashes. Me and my mmo friends were talking about ashes. And one person brought up what keeps a zerg guild from controlling a majority of the land? Or just 2-3 zergs controlling the entire server? I think thats an important topic to discusss because zergs are an ass way to brute force mmo mechanics and ruin it for a majority of close knit guilds.
Im really thinking of buying it for the alpha 2 test… but wondering, if we can play for long than and help it develop or will it be like a 1 month thing

ashes of creation is going to flop. When you try to be a jack of all trades you evidently become a master of none. Mark my words !remember – this is NOT going to be a long lasting MMO.

I want full character creation…more classes in some interesting armor sets.
Consider taking photos of yourself in different character outfits, doing emotes to use in place of the cats. I'm mostly interested in seeing the Summoner class, because it'll be using the Animal Husbandry system and/or Monster coin system so we'll know those are working. Also, we don't know if ships can attack a water Caraven. The pirate Castle says yes.
I'm sure I'm missing something and maybe a dumb question, but why all the excitement for Alpha two? It's not like it means we can play it, so I get the hype that it's closer to development, but a countdown to advancement in development?
