Ashes of Creation might be bringing back something that has been lost with modern MMOs, CLASS IDENTITY. Modern MMO Classes have become homogenized, older MMOs had great Class Identity but there were some undesirable trade-offs as well. IMO, A balance needs to be found.

– Let's you have 8 classes which evenly distributed between players. When developers create something cool and unique for some class, only 1/8 of player base will see this. Why not all of them?
– Once I find my class boring for me (or I got I have no fun playing it after XXX hours of playing, progressing and grinding) – I have to start everything from the scratch, ruining everything I had achieved. WTF?

The true problem are healer capable of healing end game bosses and people in pvp for the same value.
im happy too see aoc will have buff/Debuff class (BARD) i can say this will me most important class in the game for raids,dungeons and of course huge siege wars and GvG!
