  1. It sure has made amazing progress, but the style of it is still not something I can get into.
It looks more like a remastered early 2000 mmo. I feel like it's mainly the animations and lack of fluidity in the movement & combat.

  2. Thank you for your work Narc, very happy to see your channel growing ! Even as a casual player, i'm very impatient to look forward with Ashes' development 🙂

  3. What should the server infrastructure be like? Should there be many servers, a few, or a single server? If many people won't be playing in the long run, does it make sense to have many servers? Should the amount of servers be catered to the Player vs node ratio?

  4. I'm going to be a casual gamer and I can't stress this enough, I don't want to be able to get all the cool stuff that hardcore gamers achieve, I want to wander through the streets gawping at exotic armor, wondering at elaborate buildings, playing my small part in a thriving eco system. My wazoo has never experienced such a threatening mass of pure ketamine I mean copium.

  5. Still looks worst than the KickStarter footage from 10 decades ago. 💀 The entire game is just a different Vertical Slice each Year, made with money that payed for Vaporware… I remind everyone, this game is supposedly 8.5 years in development, but it has less progress than New World 😂

  6. I like the ideas of following the workers to their destination, depending on what they are carrying (uniforms/tools/goods).
That way you dont need an immersion breaking UI to tell you what is happening and where.
The inhabitants make it abundantly clear what they are doing and where they are doing it.

  7. Graphically it looks like great progress. Would I have liked to have seen the node system actually working? Or even simulated throughout the different stages and possibly even functioning as intended? Yes. Alas, I'll patiently wait another 5 years for us to see nodes 5.

  8. all looks good, and Id love to play / Stream this game when its out but £300+ just to play the alphas and betas, granded you do also get skins and the Remembrance Forge skin looks cool but is it worth it? im assuming its a dwarven themed skin and even is your a dwarf and you have a forge in a dwarven city node this skin is still going to be unique and different to other dwarven forges yes?

  9. Ok but is more then clear that will take at least more 4 years they didn't complete an village tier 3 , plus we still didn't see nothing from city and metropolis and 0 of racial integration in the buildings + interaction with different biomes, classes far from complete , archetypes we saw 0, world is barebones state

  10. I like your vids but no one should care about this game. I want this game to release but all the updates and lack of any movement towards a actual release makes it irrelevant

  11. AOC's Risk vs Reward systems are meant to keep things from growing stagnant, boring, and meaningless, and are not meant to allow people to make the world burn. That much I can agree with. HOWEVER, from what we understand about the game, it is mechanically viable to form a guild, use that guild to invade an area, chop down every tree in the biome, mine every rock in the biome, and harvest every gatherable, and then delete the full material yield. This is all supported by the systems in game, and those systems do not combat or prevent this sort of abusive behavior.

There are still many things questions left to be answered, but things are progressing nicely nonetheless.
