Pretty simple…this will be THE most important they have done to date. It's going to fiiiya!
A lot of gamers in the general community don't have more than a passing familiarity with software development or game development. A person might reliably predict how many widgets a factory could produce in a set time period, but writing code, sculpting models, creating materials, SFX,, Sound design, and all the rest aren't activities that can be so easily quantified. No one should be surprised if the Node stream is pushed out to September. I don't think that will happen, but Intrepid is just as aware as we spectators of the monumental importance of getting this stream right. I knew all the big streamers would be following the Update live, but I hadn't considered the numbers of possibly anti-fan eyeballs that would be turning in. That kind of ups the stakes quite a bit.
Every big dev update gets pushed back just like this one. I think it will be a great stream, but I'm not sure how much new stuff we'll learn. I'm holding my excitement for the secondary archetypes stream

We all know, Intrepid included, that this could be a make or break livestream. With so many systems tying into the nodes system that if they don't get it right, it will affect everything going forward. I am sure they will nail it. With so many stems tied into nodes, I just hope they cover one or two of the systems I still have questions about.
