What other concerns do you have about the Mage?
This is to keep the community talking. Im sure they have both sets and they will try both during alpha. People lose their monds on the internet. Let them cook!! Lol
if a remember good Steven said combat will be something between gw2 and black desert,for now this combat look too slow man!i dont like this charge/cast spells.If you gonna do in pvp like this you are dead man in a sec lol!So i expect way faster cast spells and movement!
Good video. Depending on if they confirm how they’re handling auto attacks (lack there of) there should definitely be ‘spammables’ with minimal cooldowns of 1-2 seconds. Or just have cooldowns be relative to skill power as you said
If you need to stop attacking mid fight to replenish man, thats a no go. If i have to sit and regen after a few pulls thats ok. But seeing as how every class uses mana as a main resource is concerning.
Nice Video Que! Discussing the Dev Discussion topics sounds like a good idea. As for the title of your video, Is the Mage in Trouble?, As soon as I get to Verra they will be.
I think that they should make it where you can spam basic attacks one after the another as soon as the attack animation is over and you can cancel the attack animation with abilities. Abilities should each have their own cooldown depending on their strength and obviously you can do more than one at the time. I'd allow to cancel charge type attaks with the penalty of the ability going on cooldown anyways.
As for mana, if you dont have to manage it then it's better for the mana bar to not exist. Since there is one, we should have to manage it, simple as that.
