  2. I hope we can get away from a bunch of dumb npc"s just standing around randomly wating to get killed. You know a field fully of randomly placed orcs just sniffing the daisies. Maybe pathing mobs,; mobs that are out hunting. Mobs that are constructing their own cities to fight against the invading human players, etc.

  4. Based on what I have heard about the "XP Debt" system, I am not a fan. In my opinion, death is a reasonable penalty for not achieving a goal. Introducing XP debt might discourage players from venturing into uncharted territories due to the fear of dying and accumulating more XP debt. Nevertheless, it could be linked to the corruption system, where the higher your corruption level, the more XP debt you accumulate.

  5. Average development time for a AAA mmo 5 years. You are 7 years into it and only on Alpha. Sad thing is, you know this. You have little to no competition and know we will play it no matter what, because we are bored with everything already out. So your faux sympathy for the gaming community is misplaced. You could literally tell everyone to shut up, sit down and wait, and they will have no choice. I don't watch your development videos as you are still a year or so out at your rate. So everything you talk about could and likely will change. I'm optomistic for the game but not impressed with anything else, yet, I am sure I will buy it and play because some friends will be. Nothing else on the horizon is coming out anywhere near this level so I have to just suck it up.

  6. Combat iteration is what is going to keep Ashes from launch for years (should go back to promised tab targeting). What if you don't want to do processing on a Freehold since you can only master one crafting system and processing is only 1/3 of choices, and some parts of Freehold are dedicated to a "processing" placement? Experience debt in A1 was so massive that some people had to delete their characters and start over – might consider making a defeat penalty less punitive. Good questions were asked; thank you to CCs.
