It has been almost 2 years since Ashes of Creation had Alpha 1 testing and we are all waiting. Impatiently mostly. But evidence suggests that the world map for Alpha 2 could be completed and Intrepid may be holding back. Perhaps Alpha 2 is closer than we all think.

If you think even half the map is done with how then been the past few months then idk what to tell you your more clueless then the crackhead down the road thinking the CIA is tracking him there's no shot even a quarter of the game is done let alone what's gonna be in alpha two this team caint keep their minds straight on a proper time to stream let alone what's gonna be in the fucken alpha lol

When they release the new map ages ago i firmly beleived that the zones with names were the zones that have been finished as a marker for devs internal goals for completed area, steven knows all the zone names so why would he only name a few when he could of named them all, so i firmly beleive Dinzenkell mountain, The jundark, Riverlands, Desser and frostgrave hills were all completed (land wise, probaly not mobs) when this map was released.
named zones in alpha 2 im not sure bout since Frostgrave and Denzkeel mountains is ao far appart doesnt make sense there, steven did say dessert and riverland with some bad lands would be main cross section of map for initial alpha 2 though.
I hope all live streams only take place in riverlands though and i think devs doing the right thing just showing it to keep the rest hidden for discovery for release/alpha2
I think it's very plausible that it could be done, they've made great advancements when it comes to streamlining their mapmaking process, and the Alpha 2 map is just a portion of the whole map. If it's not done already, I'd say it's very close, and that most of the waiting for Alpha 2 is for the systems that work behind the scenes.
I believe they have developed the world and are just filling the place with ruins, dungeons, statues, etc. I cannot say based on what is revealed, Iām still adamant on keeping a good majority concealed for the player base to discover.
I don't think they are but thats okay to me. Its a big world to make and it has to feel lived in and fleshed out. I don't want a big empty world in my MMO.
After 7 years? Id hope so
